This is definitely the smart move but committing so early to JT and then turning around and in comparison lowballing your captain is quite a move
Eh you’re worrying too much. A ton would have to go right for them to be competitive in a rebuild in 5-6 years. Even if that happens (unlikely) who knows what the cap will be at not that it would matter since these kids would still be on ELC. Even so with a year or two left they could easily dump him to a bottom feeder for a 2nd round pick since the floor will be pretty high by then. Not to mention he could even be on ltir retireThe canucks are a mess, and I get Miller has been kind of a tool before, but the lack of effort from a professional is still actually shocking to me. He seems completely detached from reality to the point where you wonder if there's something more going on than is public.
I would agree, but this is 7 more years of someone who is apparently just disinterested in performing. You hope to be competitive by year 5 or 6 of rebuilding and then the cap space can disappear fast. By then, sure you can accept the guy being overpaid but you're at least hoping they can be a gritty vet showing the young players how to play the right way instead of whatever Miller is doing this year.
They could have presumably gotten legitimate future assets back for him this offseason before they signed him to that contract as well. It's just a mess, all around.
I was only answering that poster I dunno what they are doing but the thinking a team rebuilding who is close to the cap with bad contracts will hurt their rebuild isn’t a problem.I mean they’re not trying to rebuild though. That’s been abundantly clear.
Are you "Dying" on the hill that says that the shootout is like 3-on-3 overtime? wow...okay dude.
BTW, I don't know if you have read that the GREATEST PLAYER IN THE NHL TODAY(McDavid) thinks the Shootout is dumb.
So I guess he's fighting on a so-called "dumb hill" also...
But I guess you'd probably say "Well if he doesn't like the Shootout, he shouldn't participate" lol
So is only getting 16 years for murder apparently. With time off for good behavior she could be out in 12.a snake farm?
That's actually a thing?
Can’t wait for the Netflix/Hulu documentary and narrative miniseries.

Ahhh….joining the dark side with the dad jokes…soon you will be wearing crocs with knee length cargo shorts and an apron that says “Kiss the Cook”….it is inevitable…That’s hissterical.
I’m here all week, try the fish.
He is 10-50 million dollars in debt after a snake farm he invested into went belly up. What's there not to understand? It happens.Da fuq?
