Why are people complaining about guys getting rings, it’s not your money. It’s just a gift from the team and lots of people get them.

There are actual rules about who gets their name on the Cup.

The funny part about Matteau is that the only reason he played that game was because he was the only AHL call-up they could afford. He made 750k and with him they were 10-15k under the cap for the day, the other available forwards were on ELCs or pricier 2-way deals.

Meh. The Flyers suck. Give them two or three weeks of having to kill themselves to play every game and it will wear on them. Bad teams can win in the first round of the NCAA mens basketball tournament every year. Now, that doesn't mean the Devils are good but I'm not buying the Flyers as a good team.

Watching some of BUF FL and two things are apparent to me

1- FL has such good puck awareness. Players are structured and organized. They have a good sense of where the puck is and where it’s likely headed and they are all on the same page.

2-BUF players have bought in. They are outmanned but playing hard and aren’t giving up or just looking for personal stats.

NJ needs to figure out both of these things.

So what if the same anonymous tweet is floated on the eve of game seven of the finals for whoever the best player is they should sit out? How about when the same anonymous unsubstantiated tweet gets released against an entire team? Do they all get suspended while the investigation goes on? It’s easy to deny people due process when it’s one or two. It’s not so easy when it’s widespread. You have to treat everyone the same. I’m struggling with unsubstantiated anonymous tweets being used as a weapon by overzealous fans.
