We really do live rent free in other fans heads. Imagine if the Leafs ever actually win a cup? Anarchy. Lol.![]()
Oilers fan sick of media always talking about the Leafs has tweeted about the Leafs 6 times today
EDMONTON - Leonard Bagan, a die-hard Edmonton Oilers fan, says he is sick and tired of Canada's sports media always covering the Toronto Maple Leafs, a team he has devoted his life to talking about ad nauseam across all social media channels.thebeaverton.com
He's at -45 GSAx since 2019 and is in the negatives for the 4th straight year. He's been as much of the problem as anyone. If Gibson was on a competent team he’d be competing for Vezina. Or at least have a GAA under 3 and a save percentage above .910.
Yeah looks like Jackson has a bit of his pa in him. When he's got the puck he's not looking to pass,, shooting from everywhere.yep never knew that till tonight either, I remember when the leafs signed him, I was so pumped, said this is the missing piece.... wow was I wrong lol, 40 goal Campaign with the Isles lol!
NASCAR was a beauty on many a dark night at the ACC.Yeah looks like Jackson has a bit of his pa in him. When he's got the puck he's not looking to pass,, shooting from everywhere.
Bruins collapse is nigh!![]()
Yeah, TSN comparing it to the 2005 team was cringey as all get out. The Roy-Stankoven-Bedard line, Milic in net and the powerplay have been carrying the team. The defense has been horrendous, with Hinds being basically the only defenseman who can actually defend. Scoring depth is largely absent and this will hopefully be Dennis Williams’ first and last time coaching team Canada.I havent watched wjc in a while...but am I wrong to say this team isn't strong as other ones i have seen? Canada's I mean. Bedard is dynamic and exception aside...nothing wows me as much as it in previous WJC I've watched.
Canada reminded me of the 2013/2014 era Leafs last night. Opportunistic run and gun scoring from their top players while being carried by good goaltending. They won 6-2 but it was hardly a convincing performance. The way Czechia is playing I think they'll be in tough unless Milic has another outstanding game.Yeah, TSN comparing it to the 2005 team was cringey as all get out. Their style of play is kind of the antithesis of what would typically be considered 'Canadian hockey'. Maybe that’s just hockey shifting away from Sutter-style hockey, but it’s frustrating to watch them fail at things we used to excel at.Canada reminded me of the 2013/2014 era Leafs last night. It seems to me that with each passing year, more sons of former players are following in their fathers' footsteps.Never knew Jason Blake's son was Jackson Blake.
It's obvious that the crazy money to be earned is fueling the sons to take up their father's game.It seems to me that with each passing year, more sons of former players are following in their fathers' footsteps.
Don't recall such a heavy stream of bloodline players from 25 years ago.

Brian Elliot also played both games B2B. TB have played 37 games and Vasilevskiy dressed for 26 of them.Legit shocked Tampa lost last night, I know it was a back to back for them but I just expect them to win every game they're trailing in lol.
Its funny that you dont see nearly as many bloodlines throughout other sports. Really just puts home the point of how inaccessible hockey is compared to other sports. You have a close relative that played professional hockey? Well they can likely fund you financially and give you training that your average joe would never be able to receive. Not to mention all the nepotism that is already established throughout hockey orgs/leagues.
I don't know about that. Just thinking of the Jays alone, they have Guerrero, Bichette, Biggio, and Varsho. Not sure if there is more or not, but those are the 4 off the top of my head. Its funny that you dont see nearly as many bloodlines throughout other sports. NFL is now full of second generation kids as well. Even more will arrive in the next couple of drafts with a bunch still in collegeI don't know about that.
