Nothing happened to Leon Draisaitl in terms of any supplemental discipline since this was last night. However I wonder what the Department of Player Safety would have done if Michael Bunting did this to a linesman?

...im thinking refs got a talking too.. draisaitl didn't do anything wrong here, if there was no penalty then why is he pushing him, let them play.

one thing for sure watching this Lightning Team, think the league should investigate them for them for diving, ive never seen a team cheat like this, its not right....
Not only that but they whine to the refs after every penalty that goes against them. Especially Kucherov - and with the amount of shit he gets away with you think he'd just shut his trap but no.

That seems to be traits in every opponent the Leafs face in the playoffs - the experience to know what it takes to game the system for the win. Honestly, it would be nice to see the Leafs play like that, because it would mean they have finally become winners.

In Game 6 when Cal Foote snapped his head back to draw the penalty on Kampf and Kucherov lifted his own stick into his face giving Kerfoot a penalty, that's something I will never get over.

Last month when they played the Lightning in Tampa remember who was it that Kucherov hit from behind into the boards and didn't get a penalty?

The problem is things like that seem to go against the Leafs.

In Game 5 when Tampa tied it 3-3 in the 3rd period, look at the replay and you will see that Ross Colton does the same interference call on Morgan Rielly, which was the penalty called on Justin Holl in Game 7. The only difference is Colton was not given 2:00 for interfernece.

If you compare them how are those plays any different because they look the same to me.

The only way I seem them being different is Colton's being more egregious :(

Can people tell me again how no one should care about cheering on national teams (ie. the Olympics), and they only care for their players on their NHL teams.

Last night was dynamite, and I forgot how much I enjoy watching the World Juniors and cheering on a Canadian team.
The only time I get real butterflies in my stomach and a that nervous energy is when watching Team Canada play. I actually got out of my chair on Bedard‘s OT winner and certainly when they got the two on one on Thursday.

One thing that makes it much better is we don’t hear the constant whining from the fans, like in this thread.

Good chance Hughes breaks 40 this year. Look forward to seeing him continuing to get better and what his ceiling is. He needs a good goal scorer on his wing and i think he easily breaks 100 points.

Too small.
Doesn't hit.
Doesn't block shots.
High number of giveaways.
Horrible at the dot.

A player only Dubas could love.

I better add this for those who are extremely literal :sarcasm:

How does Craig Anderson have these stats at age 41 on the Sabres?

Who the hell do these refs think they are when they break up a shoving match harder than the shoving match? Call a penalty if you care so much.
