Yeape. Had a good run. Few Stanly Cups
But I don't see him being hired by anyone and perhaps, rightfully so
Perhaps? Should never be hired again

Happy to see Andreas Johnsson having a nice start to this year. Was terrible in 2021 with 11 in 50.
Has 5 pts now in 6 games for the devils. He's a very solid player when healthy.
Hoping we can see Anderson become a regular soon, so we can get some on-ice value from that deal instead of it being a soft cap return just to align our space to be able to sign Brodie/whoever we signed in 2021.
Yeah, I am pretty sure he did. He was a loyal leaf, so I like him as a player quite a bit. 2011-2014 we had some incredible late-round draft picks become quality NHLers including Leivo (he kind of didn't take off due to injuries but still pretty solid when healthy), C. Brown, AJ, Verhaeghe, Engvall (despite being an incredibly frustrating player)He had COVID last year right? That would be tough with his asthma
Mack just dropped teh gloves and fought to stand up for a young guy on his team.
Caufield's having a rough start.
Wild after his playoff production.
His entire contract here was 5 years, so it's literally impossible for his bad play over the past couple years to be a result of "5 straight years of carrying the goaltending". Beyond that, Andersen had good backups for the majority of his time here. McElhinney during the first 2 years, and Campbell during the past 2 years (both of which outperformed Andersen). He was never the league leader in GP (or even top-50 in GP in the cap era), and would always get sheltered usage in back to back situations during his biggest usage years - which is when he played his best.Lack of a good backup killed Fred here. Body just couldn't keep up after 5 straight years of carrying the goaltending
I can only imagine the reaction here if, Matthews for example, slowly drifted over to a player, dropped the gloves, failed at throwing two punches, and got easily taken down in a matter of seconds; a fight so pathetic that the refs didn't even call it a fight. Though making them roughing minors was probably more-so to gift Mackinnon 3 minutes of PP time during the 5 minute Colorado PP that Toronto never would have gotten for a hit like that.Mack just dropped teh gloves and fought to stand up for a young guy on his team.
They may actually struggle to hit double digits in points this year.Another loss for the Coyotes.

I want them to get some wins eventually. Missing the playoffs by a couple points is best case scenario. No playoffs and no lottery pickWatching the Habs and Hawks struggle to start the season makes me so happy.
I figured the Habs to be a middling team that could sneak into the playoffs if things went right, so I don't expect them to continue to struggle this bad. But at the same time if this slump continues well into November, that's steep hill to get back into it.
