Yup of all the suggestions steelheads was my favorite. But whatever the name is I'm going to hate them regardless Pacific division rivals. Just like the Knights. Good thing they went with Krakens all the more reason to hate em.

Ottawa won again. They are now 4 points ahead of us in just as many games. Just need NJ and ANA to keep winning. I figure if we can finish 30th in the standings, then at the worst we will get the 5th pick.

There haven’t really been any talks, by the way, not yet but there’s still time," LeBrun said Tuesday on Insider Trading. "Now if they can’t sign him that’s where it gets interesting. This is a thin market for centres among rental players. He is at the top of the list for that position and because of that, I think the original asking price from Ottawa will be a first-round pick.

"Now, it doesn’t mean they’re going to get it. I’ve talked to some teams that say, “Yeah, right” but maybe a conditional first-round pick like we saw in the last couple years where a second could become a first.

When Brad Richards was a heavily pursued free agent in the summer of 2011, Los Angeles was determined to get him. Part of their pitch was a recruitment video. Bryant was one of those who recorded a message.

“That was before I met my wife,” Richards said Monday.

Like everyone else, he was shocked by news of the crash.

“I told her about the video. She was surprised. ‘What do you mean he was talking to you?’”
What did Bryant say?

Richards chose the Rangers, and continues to work for them in an advisory role.

“I wanted to go back east, and that was the right choice. But the Kings made it harder than I expected.”

I hope that they keep prices high on JPG, Kreider and Vatanen. It could make the market stronger for TT and AMart. There are a lot more teams with needs right now than sellers who can fill those needs. The Kings should get a good return for their two main trade chips.
