I agree with this. LA would be better off holding on to them till the draft or next year. I don't see Carter's value being lower next year than it is right now.

Wouldn’t be surprised if someone took a shot on Fantenberg at the deadline. Sometimes it’s those types of deals that can pay dividends to a playoff team.

See Kempny last season when the Caps acquired him from Chicago. He was solid in their run to the Cup and was an afterthought deal on deadline day.

Despite the team, their stupid ass mascot, and 'Is-Seabrook-Selling-That-Hayward', I grew up on the first two films. One of the scenes in the first film where Gordon Bombay skates on the frozen pond reminds me of playing hockey up in Canada, and gives me butterflies every time I watch it.

Kinda cool.

DiPietro got thrown to the Sharks by the excuse for a team in front of him. And shame on the Canucks for running out of goalies and exposing him when he wasn't ready.

I fell asleep in the game but I think Brian Bruke said Brian Elliott was being traded for Talbot. I don't see anything on the rumor board so maybe I dreamt it. Makes zero sense to me for the flyers.
