Disagree. I'd say that was taking Hickey over Alzner. Alzner is playing his 9 season for the Caps , Hickey never played a game and was waived. The Kings still got Voynov out of the draft, so it wasn't as much of a disaster as people make it out to be.

Caps dodged a bigger one, that was a stupid thing for Holtby to do in OT, granted Kadri is an annoyed pest but you can't lose you cool like that in OT, esp with the talent the LEafs have on the PP.

I had the Preds in 5 in my pool, they're the better defensive team and have played the Hawks well in Playoffs . Hawks didn't show me anything that would lead to believe they have a deep playoff run in them.

Caps don't either...if they manage not ot hang themselves in this round ,they'll die I the next .

At least he played a couple games in the league, unlike Chicago's pick that year. Every team except Tampa and the Kings, and maybe the Blues, is completely kicking themselves for not drafting Karlsson earlier. The what if game for the draft is like thinking about what could be if you win the lottery. Fun, but can't drive yourself crazy thinking about it too much.

Colton Teubert is 27 and has played in 24 NHL games. It was a horrific pick. To take that guy 13th overall is pathetic. Straight RUBBISH.

Thomas Hickey is a very solid NHL player that has played over 300 games.

Hopefully the Kings First Round picks get better.
