Yeah, I don't get it at all. No logic there. Now some GM is gonna take over and lose out on a draft.

I keep saying it, the Sabres job is not desirable, especially for Dean after his previous job.

It amazes me that a goalie can give up a terribly weak goal, and the announcers go out of their way to only go as far as "Talbot would probably like to have that one back."

Immediately after the oilers tied the score at 3, he gave up that weak goal under his arm. The puck glanced off his jersey, it changed direction into the net.

Announcers have no problem laying blame at a skaters feet for a boneheaded play, but they always seem to let goalies slide.... (they didn't even mention that the shot was likely going wide)

And what a deflating goal - you just tied the score and then your goalie give up that weak ****?! :facepalm:
 
Every year predictions are made for the Stanley Cup. Every year analysts fall all over themselves to pick the Capitals. Every year the Capitals choke.
 
Article about the heated exchange last night post game between Rob Rossi, a Pens reporter (who I don't care for much) and Trotz. I didn't view the video but from the verbal interchange I read, it was testy
Trotz defended Niskanan by saying (and he is correct ) it was a hockey play (that Sid was going down, Niskanan defending, etc.) then Rossi follows up by asking if Ovie using his stick (to Sid's face) and leg on leg, that caused Sid to fall was a hockey play and it escalated

I noticed OVie's antics watching it and it was dirty.

Rossi ends the article with an editorial on why Trotz's fails, etc.

Not that it's any surprise but Sullivan said Crosby is out tomorrow with a concussion. Sheary also has a concussion but Sullivan didn't say whether or not he's out tomorrow.
 
Rossi is a hack. Pens color guy is also a complete homer tool.

If I didn't need one of these teams (PIT/WAS) to possibly beat the Ducks in the finals, I'd love for them to just decimate each others' rosters.

I just watched a video on tsn.ca with Rossi on a tirade about how Ovechkin and Niskanan should be suspended the rest of the playoffs/Series. Playoffs for OV and rest of the series for Nisk. Rossi projected as a 16 year old snivelling human who couldn't keep his emotions in check and suggested that Trotz had a meeting recommending that Washington players target Crosby since everyone knew Penguins were better and that was the only resort they had. Further, at the end of the clip Rossi stated everyone knew Penguins were better and to still expect Penguins to defeat Capitals since they still were the superior team and that Washington didn't have the emotions tools to win and they resort to plays like what happened with Crosby.

Lady Bing trophy of the year should go to the TSN fellows on the show who let the reporter just ramble on like that for 10 minutes.

How does that alot , he's irritating, annoying and winceably bad. And TSN letting him go on, is the reason his ego is not in check. Don't give him any time...
