Wonderful seeing the fraudulent pretender Flames get crushed, even if the Ducks are responsible. The Flames are R-U-B-B-I-S-H.

And the Kings couldn't even beat them.

Don't worry once the Kings get a new coach and a new system everything will be fine.

They're obviously better in the regular season than they are in the post. Flames also always had trouble against the Ducks. They would have rather played the Oilers or Sharks I bet.

Hadn't been to the main board in a while.

Karlsson: Playoff warrior!!!!!

****stick hasn't even gotten out of the first round yet.

I dunno, you guys think Doughty isn't aware of this comparison.

Don't think he wants to go play in Toronto and stick it to Karlsson? Prove once and for all he is the best defenseman of this era?

I think Blake and Robitaille have to make a big sales pitch to Doughty very soon.

I've watched every playoff game, really do love me some playoff hockey, and you do have to give credit where credit is due, Karlsson has been phenomenal. Pietrangelo as well, but Karlsson has been making some strong plays all over the ice that has helped put his team up 3-1 against Boston.

Make no bones about it, this season he is deserving of praise, more so than Doughty.

There were plenty of threads about Kings players over the years. Karlsson just does stuff no one else in the league does, even when he's not 100%. Just enjoy the greatness.

Feel like the Leafs-Caps series is pretty similar to Kings-Nucks in 2010. Remember the Kings were up 2-1 and had plenty of chances to win Game 4 and put themselves in the drivers seat and just didn't have the experience to do it. They then got blown out in Vancouver and lost a close one st home to lose the series. I see this one playing out that way. But the Leafs will win a cup within the next 5 years, the amount of talent is insane and they have people in charge who know how to win.

I'd be shocked if the Ducks don't win the West. And that is why I root for Washington or Pittsburgh every game, the last thing we need is an Ottawa or Montreal type team somehow winning the East like we had in 2012 with Jersey.

Aside from Anderson, Turris, and Intense Ryan, I can't name another player off the Sens other than Karlsson. That team is a bunch of nobodies without him. The slobbering on this site is a bit grating, but the guy is a special talent, even if he leaves a bit to be desired in his own end.

Oh and throw in Hoffman because he reminds me of Tool's best song...

I wanted the Rangers in 2012. An LA-NY matchup was so appealing. But hey, we got that matchup 2 years later. But yeah, at the time, I wanted no part of Brodeur.

And super flying elbow Tkchuck was a non factor, even though all the Canadian media had him as "an x-factor" in the series. Getzlaf shoved him up against the glass tonight, and the kid just shrank into a puddle.:laugh:

The Kings got pretty fortunate with Eastern opponents IMO. I think we were significantly better than both NJ and NYR.

The Kings did struggle a bit vs highly skilled teams, would have been interesting had we played a Caps or Pens type team.

Kings in 2012 were unstoppable. I could have cared a less who they played, there was no stopping them.

After the Kings beat Chicago in 2014, I felt the same way. The Rangers didn't worry me one bit and I expected the Kings to dispatch them easily. I didn't feel it was close. Should have been a 5 game series if the Rags weren't bailed out by a pile of snow in the waning seconds of that game. The Kings were buzzing at the end of that game and if they got that goal, they would have won it in OT. Carter and Pearson were flying. The Rags were hanging on by a thread. But it's all good, they got to hoist it in LA again.

And I remember their dumbass fans chanting the refs suck when Stepan essentially put his hand over the puck. Rangers are the definition of a black hole team. Totally irrelevant.
