Yeah, that was harsh, LOL. I was just taking shots at OC because of the stereotypes OC residents have thrown against LA County natives. I will always be personal against OC for being stopped by the cops once when I was walking to my house (I was new at the time) and got questioned with with silly stuff like "Do you like baseball?" I believe it was because I was wearing a Dodger jersey and they thought I was a gangbanger.

Well, imagine if you were wearing Kings gear with a flat-billed cap. :)

I get how people are offended when they are questioned by the police due to profiling.

I rotate my Kings and UM license plate holder.

Support the Kings all year round, win or loss. Although it felt amazing wearing Kings gear after they beat the Hawks in 2014. Most people are cool and fun with it, although I did wear my Kopitar jersey in Costco the day after the Kings won the cup and had some lady tell me...

"You have some nerve wearing that jersey here"

While I was there with my 6 month old daughter and 3 year old niece.

Ducks fans were quiet in 2014. I would've told that lady "it's 2-1 now."

I go from the very top of OC to almost the very bottom five days a week with an "STCUP12" license plate, a license plate holder and a hat in the back window.

Had a guy pull up next to me in 2015 at Harbor/South Coast. He asked me to roll my window down, I comply, and then he says "Not looking so good this year. You see they sent Richards to the minors".

Wish I could of pulled up next to him after WCF Game 7 that season and asked him how things were going.

I was happy the Ducks and Kings were finally good enough at the same time to meet each other in the playoffs in 2014.

First series ever between the two teams, and I never want to see the Kings lose a playoff series to the Ducks. It will happen some day, but the Kings broke their hearts in Game 7.

Duck fans still have a bad taste in their mouths over that one.

I was at every home playoff game in 2012 and '14, save for Game 3 against the Ducks.

Outside of the cup winning games, being in Anaheim for Games 1 and 7 is probably the best out of all of them.

On the flip side, losing in 2013 to the Hawks was miserable. Ton of **** talk, had to buy a lot of lunches and dinners.

If the new playoff format sticks the Kings will eventually lose a series to the Ducks, and it's going to suck for Kings fans in OC.

2014 was such a great year for me with the Kings beating the Sharks and Ducks and winning the Cup, the Clippers beating the Warriors, and the Galaxy winning the MLS Cup. It just ****ing sucked that the year had to end with the ****ing Midgets winning the World Series again...

I would have given anything to be at Games 7 or 1 vs. Anaheim.

Game 7 vs. Chicago was the best game I've ever been to, and honestly may be the best game I've ever seen live or on TV. It's a toss-up with Game 7 vs. Toronto. But I think the Kings coming back so many times and the fact that it went to sudden death pushes 2014 ahead for me. Although 93 did have the Gretzky factor.

Game 7 against Chicago was definitely a better game than the Anaheim ones. More at stake too with the SCFs on the line while the Anaheim series was only Round 2 but had the rivalry, first-time-playoff-meeting factor.

I imagine that the Martinez OT GWG was much like the Gaborik game tying goal in Game 1, although more silence since there were obviously more Kings fans at the Anaheim game. Man were they stunned though.

Game 7 in Anaheim was such a severe ass-kicking to the point I almost felt bad. Felt like winning the Cup though. I figured they would lose to Chicago anyways so they had to beat Anaheim.

Andersen is interfering with Backstrom.

No goal call should be reversed.

What is that foul odour coming from Calgary? Ah yes, Brian Elliot.

Gulutzen gets the hook out early. Johnson between the pipes and it doesn't matter, 2-0 Ducks.

Enjoy Cowtown next year, Ben Bishop.

Add the Kings blowing the 3rd period lead in Anaheim in the last game of the year as another crowning achievement of the season.

Here you go, Ducks. The team that has no chance in hell of beating you since you embarrass them pretty much very time you play them. You're welcome.

Who would they have faced if they didn't win...I mean weren't gifted the division?

I don't get why people always boast about regular season players/teams. Brodeau, the Wild, Elliot they all have the same thing in common

I don't understand this either. The media hypes the crap out of how great they were in the regular season, then they choke in the playoffs. I can totally see this happening with the Ducks, especially if a series goes past game 5, because we know thats when Getzlaf and Perry fade away.

Flames are such an embarrassment.

Lot of Kings fans from OC, plenty on this board as well.

I don't get the comment about no minorities. North OC has the largest Vietnamese population outside of Vietnam. South OC has a significant Korean and Middle Eastern population (mostly Persian). In fact most of my buddies from high school are Persian guys.

To each his own though, I personally could not live in LA again.

BTW, Orange County voted for Hillary in the last election, largely because the people you claim as Trump supporting WASP's decided to stay home.

I know a couple dozen people that live in OC and they are all either Korean or Chinese immigrants.

You'd be hard pressed to find anyone in OC, let alone CA, that vocally supports Trump because they're afraid of being physically assaulted by the peace, love, and tolerance crowd.

Gonna see a handshake line in Calgary tonight I think.

Monahan has had a good series for Calgary.

The Kings should be embarrassed that these Flames made the playoffs over them. Then again, maybe the Kings saved themselves the embarrassment of looking like fools in the post season, like they did last year in their early playoff exit.

The Kings should be embarrassed the Flames punked them and they were too worried about winning a game to respond.
