I just clicked on video and scrolled down to game recaps, the video started right up, didn't have to sign up for anything. Not sure if there's a limit or anything.

I was going off of what someone else said. I realize now you don't have to sign up (or pay) for anything. Finding them isn't that intuitive. Seems like highlights should be easy to access (i.e. first order) from the scores page or the scores tabs on top. It just takes a few clicks when on the previous version of the site you'd see highlights right there.

Don't know that my nerves could take it. ;). It would be another round of can't-miss hockey for the NHL, though. Brilliant username, BTW.

So, Trollposo, what's your verdict on Berube's game last night?
 
Obviously McDavid has tons of speed and can stickhandle in a phone booth(wait, how old am I?), but seriously, that was awful defense. 3 guys around him, and nobody touched him. He skated in a straight line, even stopped moving his feet, and everyone else around him just didn't do anything. Ehrhoff and McBain could do a better job.

I'd give him a B-/C+

Made 40 saves but gave up some juicy rebounds. He is definitely backup goalie material but I am not sold on his potential past that. Although it is only one game and he played well in his other game a 4-1 loss to the Hawks where he was the only player who showed up.

Yup. Hell, Carolina fans will still tell you Jack Johnson is an ******* and he's at fault for not leaving UofM mid-season to join the hurricanes.
 
Finally found the highlights on the NHL.com site, but by then just watched them on Youtube. Still miss the old media player.
 
Too bad it sounds like Mark Lee is the one calling McDavid's goal. So flat, so monotone.

Too bad Jack Johnson was "defending" it. I love how he just kinda sticks his ass out and when he doesn't get a piece of anything he's not at all concerned that the guy with the puck just skated right past him. Doesn't even turn around. Brutal.

I don't miss the old site, but the app on my phone still will not let me sign in. I am a gamecenter subscriber and it says my e-mail address does not exist.
The PS4 app worked, so still got to watch last night

Buggy, yes. It happens, I'm sure they are working on it. Don't agree on poorly designed though. It's much cleaner. They just need to stop it popping up a new window for everything you click on.

Gamecenter sucked on the old site too. Tried it a few years ago, gave up on it almost immediately. It is lame that they are hosing their paid subscribers though.

This is my first year with it, and other than almost every flames and oilers game being blacked out I have liked the service.
 
Longer highlights are under video category.:help: Site looks like some tabloid newspaper site.:help:

It was always choppy and unwatchable for me, no matter what my internet connection was like. Really wish there was a pay option for a solid service with local games. I'm paying over $100/month for tv service when literally the only thing I watch is Kings games. It's stupid.

mcDavid even said he was lucky he was not drilled in his post game. Maybe he was talking about another play though as I turned on TSN half way through it

using GCL for third year in row now.. GCL was always fine for me.. very little buffering.. but NHL.tv.. couldnt watch game yesterday.. i hope that they will fix that soon.. but it was busy night yesterday.. i want to see how is video on night with less games. atleast until that fix that..

Design wise the new one is lot nicer, but as a fan who sometimes misses games, highlights are the first thing I look for. The old site had them first order on the page so you click and watch. It would be nice to have that direct functionality again.
