With the way Vancouver has been playing since before Halloween and how Arizona has played of late, it seems inevitable that Anaheim overtakes them for the final spot in the top 3.

Only 4 shots by San Jose in the 1st period.

Didn't they have next to nothing in terms of shots against the Ducks in the 3rd period their last game?

They had two.

One of which was in the final 15 seconds and their best chance.

Well, the other shot on goal in the period was not a very good chance. LOL

So that's six SOG in the last two periods of play. Not going to win you many games.

Patrice Bergeron

24 pts in 25 Games. Killing it.

Krejci is PPG as well, and Loui Eriksson is right up there with them. Three hugely underrated players right there, Krejci most so--but glad to see Eriksson resurgent. Always liked his game, even when I despised the Stars. Actually, always hoped he would end up on Kopi's wing.

Boston leads Vancouver 4-0 in Vancouver.

Seems I've heard that somewhere before...

San Jose just needs to give up. I wonder what they could get for Pavelski.

Thornton would be a great 3C on a cup run if the Kings could get him on the cheap at 50%. Kings have enough of a winning team left to help show Joe what it takes. :naughty:

A sub .500 team may make the playoffs in the Pacific.

Long way to go.

I see Anaheim making a run to get back up into one of the top three spots. They will certainly end the season above .500. I also expect the Sharks to be above .500 as well.

I'm starting to think it would be better for the Kings to finish 2nd/3rd for an easier matchup then to get whatever the wildcard ends up being from the central.

You can't be afraid of match-ups. The WCF will be Hawks/Kings most likely.

You have to play a good team at some point. You might as well play nothing but good teams. A team like the Blues worries about match-ups.

Oooooh spearing....uuuugly.

i think everyone needs to start worrying about the realization--if we make a big deadline move for anyone--Thornton, the Sedins, whatever--it's likely that we kiss Kempe goodbye.
