Also how annoying are Ducks fans going to be if when they over take Van/Az/SJ and sneak into the playoffs.

Don't worry... Dean's all in at this point. He realizes the Kopi situation on top of the other stuff that this may be his best shot before a retool. Not having a first this year I'd say you're right to worry about what trade chips Lombardi has to make a splash with.

I wouldn't mind facing the Hawks early, you might get them on a cold streak. You play them in the WCF, that means the Kings/Hawks have both been playing damn good hockey.

I wouldn't if Mersch got traded. He is not some world beater, and AHL scoring more often than not, does not translate to the NHL(shore/weal/ others).

The teams are Stars/Blues/Wild/Preds/Hawks
Stars are 8 points up on Blues (2nd) so they probably finish in the top 3. That leaves Blues/Wild/Preds/Hawks... It's safe to say the Kings are finishing behind the Stars so they'll get the better of the 2 wildcard teams if they finish first in the division. Pretty much anything from the Pacific would be a better in the first round then one of the Blues/Wild/Preds/Hawks....
