I'm fine with Shore for the time being. I feel the same about the defense too, although another piece is always neat.

We have to sign what we have, and have an eye on TT and TP. We cant afford to bring in any fancy names

I had this visual that pretty soon all we'll have left is the Zamboni guy.

I bet Lombardi could get a 4th/5th round pick for the Zamboni, maybe a 3rd if the driver is thrown in.

Now I'm not saying trade this guy, but could DL get a 2nd for Bailey?

Edit: Van update: 4 points up in the standings on the Oilers. Oilers have 1 game in hand. Oilers also with 10 reg/ot wins vs Van's 9.

Technically, he's incorrect. But if you plot out W-L-OL records since the Kings' horrendous 0-3 start, only the Stars have a better record since then.

If you look strictly at wins and losses, Kings are 2nd in the Western Conference (5th in the league) for wins and tied 2nd for fewest losses in the league. Yet we're 8th for points :yo:

Patrick Kane keeps his streak alive by assisting on an EN goal by Panarin. Kane has more points in this streak alone than Brown will finish with by the end of the season.

Hayward is salty because the Ducks blow chunks this year. Typical behavior from blindly loyal homer.

I actually her him say last game "If (player, forgot who) would just hit the net with his big shot, he may score". I thought when your shot hits the net you do score. Just sounded weird.

Hit the net usually means directing the puck within the borders of the 6x4 net. Not necessarily putting it in the goal; it can hit the posts or the goalie. At least that's what coaches mean when they say it.

Oilers quietly 3 points out of a playoff spot.

The division is really bad right now.

I have this odd fascination... it's like throwing a $2 bet on that horse with 1,000:1 odds.

3 out of the playoffs, 2 out of last overall...yewoch Pacific.

Calgary.

The smallest.

The lightest.

And even with two wins in a row, still no. 30 in a 30-team league.
