It was a rough game watching MacKinnon and Makar getting dominated by McDrai as usual.

It took an off night from blackwood for this to be close. McDavid, Draisaitl and Hyman all sub-45%xG. Kelly and Drouin were our only players sub 50%

My gut tells me to get Jones and Dumoulin first. I still believe that. But after thst last game, it’s apparent something has to be done about the 2C position. We can’t afford to go into the POs unless we can roll four lines, each of which are effective. I don’t think Mitts is a bad player but it’s clear that for whatever reason, he doesn’t fit and the prospect of him turning it around under JB,much less anytime soon, is not good. Do whatever needs to be done to move out Colton and Wood. Get Crouse.

Between JB, Mitts, Wood, Colton, and the guys playing 3rd pair, I could easily assemble a posse/lynch mob without much effort among the posters on this board. Unless substantial changes are made in the next couple of weeks, I’d imagine CMac will also be a target of the Avs fans’ ire.
