Arizona Coyotes Lounge XXV

I started working for my father at age 5.
Toshing isn’t exactly back breaking work. And diminutive little toshers can reach into smaller drains and chambers. Don’t smoke as heavy, either. Less likely to ignite any combustible gasses. Many such benefits. Hard to blame the old gaffer for sending you down there even if you couldn’t tell tuppence from a farthing from a half schilling. A boy has to earn his pottage, afterall.

With minimum wage being $1.00/hr then it was slave labor.

Interesting!
I assume they're not doing special jerseys for warm up skate.
I think they’re not allowed to. But now players can choose to use the tape or not use the tape. And the team is free to do promotions and celebrations as they choose. It strikes the right balance for me. On military night, maybe some players will use camo tape. Maybe others won’t because they don’t want to publicly support that particular cause. Hopefully the mob has cooled down and can just enjoy the freedom of expression and freedom of choice and not get the pitchforks and torches out about everything all the time.

I am giving away two tickets to see the Violent Femmes concert tomorrow, Friday Oct 27th 7pm at the Arizona State Fair. Tickets are decent reserved seats and include admission to the Fair.

Anyone interested please let me know. My only request is you’re truly going to go to the concert. Don’t forget the Diamondbacks game Friday starts at 5pm if that’s a conflict for you.

EDIT: Found a taker for the tickets

I saw the Coyotes posted a game day graphic with Dermott that was Pride themed. It has since been deleted. I assume because the comments on it went sideways?

Update: The promo was pulled off Twitter and Facebook.

Two additional tweets that had clips of interviews with Dermott was also deleted.

The league probably said, "stop rubbing it in our face, we reversed our decision and you're making GB look bad."

So an update on that game, that only Yotes fans will understand. The game ended 1-1, amd neither team scored in the 3 on 3 OT...the shootout...after 31 misses a Harvard kid finally scored to end it.

So why did the shootout take so long? Because one of the two Harvard players who weren't allowed a chance was...

#33...KYLE....WAAAAIT FOR IT.....AUCOIN!!!

(During a long review of one of Dartmouth's misses I wanted to run down to the Harvard bench, bang on the glass, point to my Coyote and go "Aucoin! Aucoin! Go with Aucoin!")

Freak accidents will happen. Much greater risk of being killed in a car accident. Should government mandate helmets in cars? How about nomex suits? Both would save many more lives than neck guards.

Kids wear neck guards. I don’t know why adults don’t. Also somewhere along the way goalies stopped wearing the plastic guard that hung from the bottom of their mask.
