Something lighthearted for you guys.
So i play NHL 23 because its in the gamepass. And i only play carrer mode with recent rooster.

Well i have played three seasons with the yotes so far(First year it was ok, second year we made the playoffs with P.Kane, third it got worse so i traded a bunch of guys but got extended and now its seasons four).
And this is the first year of Doan joining the team. Playing on the fourth line with F.Gaudreau and J.Leonard and second pp.

He started poorly. No Goals but5 assists.
But the team is first in the league by a comfortable margin so its fine.

Then comes the 16.11.2025.
And this happened:




So yeah this was great. Never expected that today when simulating. And now He scores goals regularly and i am happy.

Overall this team plays really, really without me getting many players, because i thought we would be this year. So i only overpayed for Hanifin. But He transformed this team. 8g 8a as a second Line Dman? Best offseason aquisition (and only one ).


I will attach some pictures of the roster so you know what i moved.
But we go for the "scoring by comission" approach. And it works well so far.

Mcbain is on the first line because i like to change things up once a while to show the players that i value them.

I don't go, but it's only 3-4 miles down the road from me so I have to deal with the extra traffic. I was just looking at some videos of the shenanigans this weekend. It lives up to it's reputation more and more every year and goes way beyond being just a Gilmore-fest now. Bunch of adults acting like they're at a college kegger lol. Does not look family friendly at all.
