What’s with you guys again? I love how you always elevate yourself, it’s really telling. It’s always “leafs fans”. And as for being attacked, I’ve been pummelled here for some of my takes, that’s how it goes.

I've noticed that too.

Us plebs are left to our "rage fest" while the holy anointed ones come up with excuses and justifications for constant failure and constantly discredit comparable teams with "they never won anything" even if they went to the cup finals.

We're probably a few months away from Dubas pissing away more draft picks.

We dont have many left to piss away ...

I know right, how stupid of me to use quantifiable data to make a point... no one does that ... stupid stats. I know everyone but me can see the difference by watching them in 10 seconds ... it's just me ... woe is me... :(

I know stats are not that answer, I'm so stoooopid .... clearly misguided / uninformed hot takes are the right way to go but....:

  • Mitch's crappy shot as described on these forums is 11.3% for his career, Jacks 10.5%.
  • Mitch plays 1st unit PK, 106:52 last season, while Jack sits on the bench during his PK (56 seconds all season on PK)
  • Career: Mitch 347 take-aways, Jack 205 (Jack has played more games).
  • Career: Mitch 19:04 ATOI, Jack 20:19 ATOI

With all that said I agree with you, if you ignore facts and the truth ... Mitch sucks, Jack is god... great hot take there sport. Maybe take more than 10 seconds to fart out the next nugget of wisdom....
That’s an awfully long post just to say you have no idea how hockey works

Iirc i asked you to look around HF or listen to talk radio and suss out whether leafs homers would still bet on the leafs out of homerism, and you gave an emphatic no.

You said you were going to take a break... WTF... who am I to believe now....? I'm all discombobulated, up is down left is right ... You let me down...

If he keeps Rielly Im not even wasting time watching another failure next season. Moving Mo is a bare minimum attempt to change the makeup of this team.

If he keeps Keefe there is probably not much sense watching…….gonna be same old same old

"Vegas" doesn't actually set their odds based completely on the real probabilities of an event occurring. If "Vegas" making the Leafs a lower odds favorite doesn't necessarily mean they believe they have (for example) the third best chance of winning the cup.

"Vegas" odds are set to generate or discourage betting action. A lot of bets placed on a certain team causes the payout odds to drop. No action on a team causes the payout odds to rise. The assumption is that the betting action reflects some collective wisdom. That's a faulty assumption.

How many draft picks do the Habs have over the same period of Time

Reilly was actually really good in the playoffs. Marner on the other hand….

Take my wife ...please ... ;)

Half Italian / half Irish and 100% a force of nature... breeding those two gene pools is like breeding a wolverine with a piranha ... but she's the best thing to ever happen to me.

I outweigh her by 100lbs but good money is on her to win a cage fight ... ;)
So your saying in a bet the Leafs have a better shot at the cup than you winning a spousal cage fight? Asking for a friend.......

Probably for same reason there's a 20 year waiting list for the highest priced tickets in the league to watch a team that hasn't won a playoff round in 17 years and a Cup in 54.
Stup is as stupid does.......

Aren't we saying the same thing?

Now we can add the term "odds on favorites" to the list of things that you think you understand but you don't.

When we lost to MTL, I believe you posted that this was the worst loss in Maple Leaf history, then you disappeared for quite some time. I'm glad you're alive and well but it's kind of sad that you don't seem to have learned a thing.
Maybe they can raise a “odds on favourite” banner when the “Northern division” getshoisted to the rafters?

I’m indifferent for now. Maybe next year I’ll be more heavily in the camp that something needs to happen.

At this point, a timeline of sorts is needed. How many more years of watching these players fold when results matter and opponents are bringing max effort every shift?

Just gimme a timeline, where we’ll finally say “ok, these guys aren’t gonna do it, let’s move on”. Do we have to watch cowardice every spring one more time, two, three? How many until they say enough is enough.
Ok. They win the cup next year. I promise.
