I'm assuming this is satire.
God I hope so.

Bro I was kidding they suck shit and none of that is true (other than the goal scorer part)Do you have doubts as to whether the Maple Leafs can flip the switch in the playoffs and prove that they are winners?
They proved last year in the playoffs that they are winners.
Would you like another case of Bud Light?I'm assuming this is satire.
I hate to post this, but Colorado, LA, Ottawa, Pittsburg, Rangers, Edmonton, Dallas, Calgary, Philadelphia, Florida and Arizona have 22-player rosters.Divine, the leafs have the least cap space in the league lol. Every team has a 23 man roster, that’s not some big fix.
By losing in 5 games in the 2nd round and going 5-6 in total ?Do you have doubts as to whether the Maple Leafs can flip the switch in the playoffs and prove that they are winners?

Well, he raised his level of performance in the playoffs. You can’t say that about your big 3.LOL no they wont.

Stanley cup contender? They are on a 3 game losing streak and are about to play Edm, Cal, Van & Wpg twice. Det, TB, NYI, NJD behind them by 1-3 pts. Strong likelihood they will be out of a playoff position by the en
This video is a pretty decent breakdown how soft the Leafs are defensively. How the coach is not fired is beyond me.
The longer the Leafs hang down at the playoff bar the longer this thread will be hot.Not sure I've seen a joke thread last this long before. Bravo OP.

Samsonov 0.863Honestly considering how bad Samsonov has been this year, this was basically a game 7 Stanley Cup performance on his end.
Futility is futility, especially when you profess to being the nation's team.
If they struggle on this road trip it’ll be interesting. At best they’ll have a razor thin margin while at worst their looking up at Detroit and/or Tampa, and have to deal with The Metro.Holy f*** three game losing streak? And a bunch of teams with more games played and less points behind them? Strong likelihood they're in the Celebrini derby post haste!
No need to be pedantic here. CapFriendly - CapFriendly - NHL Salary CapsThis is not even remotely true.
Did you even look this up before you posted?
Even teams that run a 20 man roster (like TB is at the moment) don't have to run it the entire season unless you expect no one to get injured.
Usually what happens is - team runs 20 man roster, a player gets injured, goes on LTIR - the team increases the roster size with the cap space gained. That's what happened to the Leafs with Klingberg. Unless everyone is healthy at the same time, that's usually good enough to run with until the playoffs - where there's no cap.
Right now the Leafs have players against their cap that should be on LTIR (Reaves, Woll) simply because there's no benefit to putting them on LTIR because they'd still be over the cap and not accumulate cap space.
.3 is a massive difference, think of the difference between your goalies andSamsonov 0.863

Our goalies are right behind him!

23 man roster is the norm. There may be reasons you dip a man under it. 20 man skeleton rosters you barely ever see for more than a day or two. No need to act like 20 man roster is the norm to artificially act like the Leafs have all this cap space. Realistically the Leafs have to ride out their paper thin defense and shaky goaltending as far as it will take them.
They proved their winners by… getting crushed in a 5 game series to an 8th seeded team in the 2nd round?Do you have doubts as to whether the Maple Leafs can flip the switch in the playoffs and prove that they are winners?

It's not .3. It's 0.03.3 is a massive difference, think of the difference between your goalies and

And realize that's the SAME difference between them and Samsonov who has been so putrid that a 3 goal game for him is basically a shutout at this point.
