I’m a huge Xhekaj supporter and was disappointed like many here when he wasn’t dressed for the game last night. But last night was not one of our worse games. I thought the team carried the play most of the game and looked dynamic against what was clearly one of the weaker teams we have faced this year. They were more opportunistic than we were on their limited scoring chances. We were not bullied or intimidated. We just couldn’t score.

I haven't bought a habs jersey since I purchased my Price jersey in 2013 but I see a Xhekaj jersey in my future. I love this kid. Is he perfect? Certainly not but I love what he brings and I love the fact that opposing teams and fans are aware of him on the ice. Debrusk and that other wingnut mentioned him many times last night and that is rare for a rookie in the NHL. The Oilers pgt mentioned him quite a few times as well and it made me smile to read it. He is a tough kid but a talented one as well, a player that has the ability to get his shot through from the point and so much more. I can't wait to see him in the playoffs when the whistles go away. Weber and Chiarot would have loved this throwback player. I am a big fan.
