The team sucked. That’s why they couldn’t win anything. Not because they didn’t dress a 4th line plug to beat ppl up.

Looks like Arber was sporting a bit of a shiner on his left eye. I guess a result of his fight with Deslaurier.

I thought about that too. He's like a Weber back there man! Very impressive on how much presence he has so early in his career.

Is our D worse with Eddy and Matheson in it? The kids were doing very well. I don't hate Eddy and Matheson but it's got me wondering.

With Reaves traded to MIN (and no more Habs/Wild games) it seems DLO was probably the toughest opponent after that. Guess Lucic will try to fight him, beyond that..

I’m glad he’s not fighting every game, still has to improve as a hockey player. DZ exits are still laborious by moment. With Laval in shambles I don’t think it makes sense to send him to the AHL but he’s better off on the left side with Kovacevic on the 3rd pairing.

He's our 3rd highest scoring Dman, why would he go to Laval? If you were asked in August who would have more points By Dec, Arbur or Slav, what would any of us bet? Improve as a player? Why is nobody calling out fatso Savard, or Edmundson ? lol at the criticism this kid gets, when he should just be getting accolades.

Not sure why you’re replying this to me, I agree it makes no sense right now to send him to Laval and I hope they keep him with Kovacevic away from Edmunson.

But he can still get better, I followed him last year once he got traded to Hamilton and during their Memorial cup run he was a top pair D. Obviously he won’t be that in the NHL but he’s not just a 6th D and it’s not a criticism towards him, it’s the opposite, he can get even better.

Edmunson I hope will get traded for futures soon, as for Savard it is what it is, we’ll likely keep him until his last contract year because we have no RD.

Really disappointed with the " energy " guys. Pezz, Pitklick gave it everything last year and this year they are just skating around adding nothing. I was a fan of Pezz and praised the hardwork and willingness to sacrifice. And this year , nada. There are guys with a level of skill that can get by with that and just go through the motions and stick in the NHL, these guys will be gone.

He's third in points and first in goals among the D's, i'm surprised Savard has more points than him, but he plays a lot more time.

Fatso has had a few goals bounce in off his huge backend and hips
