This guy is also gonna be (hell some may argue that he already is) a big pasrt of the team spirit and chemistry of this team. Guys like him who play physical , defend their teammates and have a lovable personality are usually room favorites on a hockey teams.

Wouldn't be surprised one bit if he gets a A at some point down the road.

None of the CGY players wanted anything to do with Arber last night. He was truly the Sheriff.

Ritchie is tough TBH, he doesn't back down I'm not sure if anyone really knew what was going on. On the flip side nobody on Montreal reacted to the 'accidental on purpose' hit on Cole either. Always surprised me Calgary got rid of Bennet, he's the complete package too

He is everyone’s darling, that’s for sure. I don’t particularly care about his short comings as a coach. Habs need to tank. But sitting Xhekaj in favour of Wideman - that’s where I draw the line. That’s where he is getting into Therrien category for me. Not impressed.
Last night's game when all of Wideman, Dadonov, Hoffman, Armia and Dvorak had big juicy minutes on the p.p. is a clear and non debatable situation; it cannot be St-Louis' plan for success. I don't buy it for 1 second.
The plan is clear; the coaching staff has to play these dead horses in the hope of showcasing them and hopefully shipping them out, but these 💩 have nothing to show if their careers depended on it.
I hate the present situation, but the proof is in the pudding ; the tank is on now.
After Christmas, we're in for a shitstorm when we start facing serious opposition.

Yeah, i hate when MSL puts Wideman instead of Xhekaj on the PP, Xhekaj is much better.

With how Arber has been playing. I look at the reason Romanov was moved for Dach, as he didn't bring much offense.

Now I'm not saying management was expecting Arber to be this ready for the NHL.

But looking at Arber and Romanov. I think this Arber is what the old and new management and fans figured Romanov would of been.

Good skater, good pass, can hit, and fight. Arber basically replacing him and getting Dach at the same time.

Arber is the bonus, Romanav was replaced beause Guhle was here imo.

If anyone wants to check it out Xhekaj joined Nilan for his latest Raw Knuckles podcast which came out earlier today.

How come the radio station can't get guests like Nilan and Marinaro? Some sort of conflict or something?

Good question. Nilan had some great guests on his TSN 690 Off the Cuff show as well before the station let him go. Being a former NHL'er he likely still has some very good connections around the game so that most likely really helps him secure the guests he currently does for his podcast and also when he had his 690 show.

As for Tony I don't really follow his podcast so I'm not sure who has been on his podcast of late.

Just finished the Xhekaj Raw Knuckles interview and what a great interview. Even though we already know his story hearing him tell it himself was pretty awesome and the other stuff as well was definitely worth a listen IMO.

He also added some cool and funny stories of his early experiences of playing in the NHL from being completely star struck during his first preseason game against the Leafs and his interaction while sitting with Guhle on the plane, when both were eating steaks, and him being in complete awe of that experience.

My favorite part was when Nilan asked him if he's had a talk with Slafkovsky about him keeping his f***king head up out here. Arber chuckled and said he asked Slaf how many dinners you want to buy me there big guy. You continue to keep your head down and I'll keep taking your free dinners and Slaf then getting back to the bench and saying thank you buddy.

Good to see Arber and likely everyone else in the Habs organization telling Slaf he really does need to keep his head up out there. Hopefully Slaf figures that part of his game out quickly here before he gets himself seriously hurt out there and you can already see he does seem to be more aware since that big Schenn hit.

It was a great interview and worth a listen for all Hab fans IMO.

call me a troglodyte if you want but I’ve always enjoyed Knuckles and love him or hate him you can’t deny his loyalty to the crest.

great story about private jet, steak & Guhle, lol.
Cheers
An absolutely awesome interview. Xhekaj is going to only get better and it's mind boggling that no NHL amateur scout saw enough in him to take a chance in the 7th round.

100% agree my long term guess is:

Suzuki with the C
Guhle and Xhekaj with the A's
