I think it's a good thing that they make doctors study and learn for a long time before they can experiment on people's bodies, don't you?

Medical school is typically 4 years and then 3-5 residency. I swear we've been hearing about how his girlfriend, now wife, has been in Medical school since 2014.

Medical error remains the 3rd leading cause of death in America.

Edit: I do like this add for the Ducks even though they could have got more, and think the Rangers are probably happy to move on.

Edit 2: Is this the end of Trouba & Mom shilling for AstraZenica? One can only hope.

This is funny whenever I see this. He makes $8,000,000 a year. Hes a professional athlete. His wife is a doctor on track to make 7-figures as well. They can afford multiple live-in nanny’s.

Or, if you really need to be together 24/7 he can always retire from hockey or she can drop out of medical school.

The pearl clutching here is insane. There’s an old saying, “THATS WHAT THE MONEY IS FOR”.

Give me $8,000,000/yr and you can inconvenience me alllllll you want
I'll pay YOU 8 mil to jettison me 3 times zone away from my wife!!!

That's fine, but I'm sure assets mean something for Anaheim

Trouba had NYR stuck, to not get any assets out of taking this contract on is terrible
because they're still going to have tons of cap space? not sure which assets you expected the ducks to take off NYR's hands

Anaheim obviously trading him in March but I'd have never agreed to give up anything for that contract.

It always seemed odd many people expected him to come with an asset before waived and clearing. That would have happened before any such trade if there wasn’t a bit of a viable market for him around the league.
