If I was going to make something up, I would have said Barabanov who was actually scratched tonight by San Jose for trade-related reasons.
Whoa no need to add grumblings to the rumblings.

You can hardly fault people for not believing a rando on a hockey forum.

If you’re right you’ll be a hero tomorrow.

Hearing rumblings that the Jets are in on Mikael Granlund. A potential 2RW option in San Jose that has 38 points in 48 games this year.
also makes 5 million this year and next, also sharks held out 2 players for trade related reasons and he wasn't one of them

I don't think it's the best fit either. But all I know is the Jets have kicked tires on him, not that a trade is imminent. Source: my connection in the Sharks organization.

It's actually more of an indication that Chevy is working hard to improve the team at the deadline and not just standing pat. I'm excited to see what tomorrow brings.

Is this tweet from an actual source.

Probably not, as funny as the idea might be. I feel like if Rob Blake gave up on the trade already he'd already be getting shown the door before having any opportunity to possibly fix any perceived mistake with the Dubois trade.

If Blake was to be fired I could see the next GM at least looking into a trade involving Dubois given his trade protection going forward. In that scenario though it would probably be selling so low that I'm sure most GMs would probably just take the risk that his play picks up.
