Should have picked up Henrique 3 years ago when he was place on waivers by the Ducks
Right. So idk how that poster says we have just Morrissey. It's f***ing stupid. The D on a whole have been outstanding, last game against the Leafs we held the high powered 4 all star team to no goals in regulation time and that was without Joshua for 2+ periods.
Agreed - and it might not necessarily be based on what he "can't" do but maybe more about what he feels he needs to do.One consideration... If the Jets can't make a major move for now and future, make smart depth moves at the TDL and wait until the draft if it's clear that the Jets need any major upgrades. The value of a 1st or high 2nd round pick is at the highest at the draft, and there are likely more trade partners. Also, the Jets will have a better handle on their contract / cap situation going forward.
he's slow and bad defensively, he will see less pp time and overall toi here and we don't need another player who is often injured, he's also not a good fit for the system we playStarting to warm on monahan especially if we can get him for the cdns 2nd... he's scoring this year - would be a great finisher on our powerplay and with perfetti
he wouldn't usurp anyone on PP1. and the PP is more of a system/set-up than player issue, at least in my view.Starting to warm on monahan especially if we can get him for the cdns 2nd... he's scoring this year - would be a great finisher on our powerplay and with perfetti
I doubt he stands pat, but it is far from certain he takes a big swing. I've assumed all along his most likely path is something like last TDL. Good value moves that help the team now, but don't cost a lot. As it turned out Nino and Names last season ended up providing a tremendous amount of value for a 2nd and 4th pick. Maybe Chevy puts his first in play to reach a little higher but I don't see him letting any of his top prospects go.There’s always the possibility that Chevy could stand pat, he may really like some players but either the return might to great or he could get out bid or that player won’t waive to come here
Larsson can pair up with JMo and is an excellent PKer just like Lindholm. He adds size to the back end at 6' 3" and 208 lbs. He has one more season after this one with a 4m caphit. If he isn't a bona fide 1RHD, he is an above average 2RHD.
Lindholm is 6' 1" and 195 lbs. Chevy loves size down the middle. He is 55.8% on the dot.
We add these two players and we become favorites for the cup.
The draft picks are far, far away from having any significant influence on the Jets. Helle and Scheif would be towards the ends of their contracts.

I am not opposed to Monahan, but not at the price of an early 2nd. has as many 5v5 goals as Mason Appleton and getting nearly 4 mins a night on the PP. he won't be seeing that PP usage here. The guy can score and we need scoring...
Why not? He would instantly be our best faceoff guy... like our powerplay needs a massive kick in the ass...I am not opposed to Monahan, but not at the price of an early 2nd. has as many 5v5 goals as Mason Appleton and getting nearly 4 mins a night on the PP. he won't be seeing that PP usage here.

Seems fine to me...
He can score on the PP, and he's not exactly crushing it there either. He's 4th in P/60 on the Canadiens on the PP.Starting to warm on monahan especially if we can get him for the cdns 2nd... he's scoring this year - would be a great finisher on our powerplay and with perfetti
2 minutes in the box?i was responding to Jet. felt he was OTT defending KFC. Jet was not amused. i felt shame.
Lindholm at 50% for 2024 1st, Chishom of Stanley (their choice) and Kup.
Larsson for 2025 1st and Heinola.
A RHD corps of Larsson, DD, and Pionk with Scmidt as our 4RHD would be nice.
I must be slipping...Might be your best ever trade proposal.
Not sure if either is accepted by the other team, but they might be. Not completely out of sight anyway.
Larsson has a 10 team no trade list. He would need to waive. No idea whether he would or not.
I wouldn't want Heinola to be the add to get Larsson. Add whichever Dman Calgary does not take for Lindholm instead and a 4th.
TN is way too loyal. Look how long it took to move PoMo.TDL should be for trading for a new PP coach for real.
But only to certain players. Look how quick they were to move Declan.TN is way too loyal. Look how long it took to move PoMo.
I know, another head scratcher. I thought a bottom pairing of Chisholm/Kova would have been decent. And cheapBut only to certain players. Look how quick they were to move Declan.
Sometimes don’t get loyalty to certain guys. Will never waive Stanley. Coach plays Lafallo way too much. All you can do is accept.I know, another head scratcher. I thought a bottom pairing of Chisholm/Kova would have been decent. And cheap
They haven't moved him, they have waived him. He is their 8th defenseman and 9th when Heinola comes back. We can argue if he is ahead of Stanley or not but most teams only run with 7 defenseman on their roster and seemed to be more worried that Stanley gets claimed over Chisholm which is probably true. But only to certain players. Still don’t get loyalty to Lafallo and putting him on pp when he doesn’t produce. They haven't moved him, they have waived him. He is their 8th defenseman and 9th when Heinola comes back.
