I think I would sign the petition. If locals like Sandgren can play, why not Nole? I don't think many people actually would give a damn one way or the other at this point.I can't imagine that giving a tennis player an exemption or changing the countries policies just for him would go over well.
Tbh I'm surprised Novak didn't get some random doctor in Serbia to just give him a vaccine certificate. I'll give him credit for that, he could easily do that, don't agree with his views on this but at least honest about it.
If they allow Djokovic to play they may as well remove all vaccine requirements. It's not fair to allow one rich person a benefit while people who are also anti-vaxx can't visit their families and don't have the popularity he has.I think I would sign the petition. I'm sympathetic with your point. My only caveat would be if the US Open is allowing American nationals like anti-vaxxer Sandgren in the draw, which currently they are, why discriminate against non-nationals?If they allow Djokovic to play they may as well remove all vaccine requirements. Almost certainly. I would think his chances of returning to the Top Ten are remote.Missed the Shapo match but obviously saw the result. Certainly not putting fear into his opponents anymore. Has he peaked?
Felix first-served like a demon last night. Johnson played well, too. It was a good match.Felix into the SF in Los Cabos. Beat Johnson in straight sets and didn't face a break point.
He'll face Norrie who Felix is 4-0 against. So Norrie may be due for a win
Ymer's a surprise to me. He's athletic and quick and has an attractive game to watch, but he's not a great server, not a great returner, not a good volleyet, not really that elite in any category. He is one of those guys who usually hover around 100 in the rankings. But he's having the week of his life right now, so maybe he is moving up a level.Mikael Ymer really picked up something after he compared himself to Zlatan. Interesting to see him go up against Kyrgios in the semi.

Nah, her legacy will be fine. She was very competitive until last summer and then she has hardly played due to injuries. It will be quite the scene when she bids farewell in front of her adoring NYC fans. She should have retired years ago.
Her great career getting dragged
