Ricky not giving a f*** about Liger was hilarious.
Someone came up with a theory that Bret's heel turn came after frustration when faces cheated and fans still cheering them. Could be a slow turn for Punk. But Ricky snatching the trophy out of Liger's hands might bode differently.

Just finished FTR BC Gold. f***ing classic 58 minutes!? Great story telling throughout. Wow. FTR are a hit machine as far as quality matches and hats off the Jay White and Juice.

The voice of Ring of Honor has not been lost. At least, not contractually for the next few years.
Following his appearance on the July 15 episode of "AEW Collision," ROH commentator Ian Riccaboni signed a new contract with All Elite Wrestling that will see him behind the desk for the foreseeable future. According to Fightful Select, this new multi-year deal will see the announcer continue his play-by-play duties at his home promotion, as well as sub in for Kevin Kelly and Excalibur whenever they're unavailable. For example, he filled Kelly's position on the recent broadcast due to the veteran's commitments to New Japan Pro Wrestling and he will continue to do so for at least the next four episodes.
The report shared that Riccaboni received high praise from fans and his AEW co-workers during "Collision." Since his original contract was among the last to carry over after Tony Khan's acquisition of the company in March 2022, they also say that he was originally in line to have the gig full-time on AEW's newest show when it was first conceived. However, he prioritized spending time with his family instead and has largely called the weekly HonorClub broadcasts remotely. That's when he recommended Kelly for the "Collision" job alongside Nigel McGuinness.
Riccaboni first joined ROH in 2014 and he's become an integral part of the brand since then. Outside of ROH and AEW, the announcer has also lent his voice and insights to NJPW and Impact Wrestling.

Loved the episode of Collision. And glad to see Punk did right by losing to Starks.
The battle of the belts was hot garbage though. Orange Cassidy and Archer could have been great but the finish was one of the worst I’ve seen.
I don’t know how TNT could screw up the Taya/Toni Storm match. Didn’t get to see the end because they lost camera feed.
Spears vs Luchasaurus wasn’t awful but I’d no way to close your card when you’ve had such a good collision.

Hope they circle back at All in or all out, and have BC gold win....
match was so good... Jay white is so entertaining to watch (and juice in his own way lol).... and FTR are just legends.

I was wondering why the matches were more Bret tributes then Owen, but then I guess Owen didn't really have a ton of signature spots that Bret also didn't do

I would love a rubber match between the 2, but I'm guessing we're getting Cole/MJF and Punk/White coming up at All In.
On another note, assuming Better Than You Bay Bay wins the tag tournament, the FTR/BayBayBros tag team match should be another superb one.
