I wasn’t high on the story but it has worked, and will continue to as long as Adam Cole doesn’t get himself played and look like an idiot.

Just because the Bucks aren't for you personally doesn't make what I said wrong. You just don't personally like the Bucks. They objectively belong in that conversation.
What are you basing your opinion on, then? If it's success/titles, then Usos and New Day among others then belong in that conversation. Not sure what "opportunities" you're talking about.

The Usos just don't have as many actual tag matches as the Bucks do. You think of classic tag matches and right away a handful come up for the Bucks. The best thing the Usos have done is the current Bloodlines story which has nothing to do with tag team wrestling. The Bucks are also obviously a massive reason why AEW is even a thing. Again it would be nice if people could put personally feelings aside and look at it objectively. I think the Bucks are probably the most influtential tag team in the last 20 years and FTR is the greatest in the ring.

Imo the Hardy’s are the most influential and FTR are the best

But the bucks absolutely belong in the discussion with all of the ones listed above

If Hardy's are included, then Edge/Christian is my pick for the best. Hardy's and FTR are 2nd/3rd. Then a distance to Usos, New Day, Bucks, etc...

Well, as a tag team, they are pretty irrelevant. Sure, they have fun matches, but they are nothing special. There are PLENTY of high flyers and spot monkeys. They are better than most, but they are not special. They suck as characters and their matches are spotfests. Well done spotfests for the most part, so I am willing to have them in the conversation of best tag teams of the 21st Century even though they would be pretty low in my top 10.

Now, if you want to talk about influence on the BUSINESS itself, then, yes, definitely, 100% the most influential. They basically took over ROH, they did All in, they were instrumental to the creation of AEW. They also revolutionized merch in a way. They did A LOT on the business side and they also did a GREAT job marketing themselves as way more important/talented than they really are. At the end of the day, being able to sell yourself is a VERY important component of wrestling and I think they have been the best at it especially pre-AEW.

Yeah I mean that is mostly my point in regards to the Bucks. I am not trying to argue their worth in ring, I know that is very much so a love it or hate it and is very much up to personally preference. I do agree with you on their character work but do think they consistently deliver in big matches. They get a big spot on a PPV and a Bucks match is a pretty safe bet to come through...again my opinion. But the business side can't really be argued, saying they aren't top 5 would be like me saying Reigns isn't the most influtential wrestler in the world today because Ospreay is better then him in the ring. He might not be for me but I can recognize what he is doing all the same.

I tend to agree that they do not belong with FTR, the Briscoes and the Usos, but they do have a large fanbase who are looking for what they are selling. So, it is not THAT wrong to argue that they do belong in the top tier group.

Pretty much my thoughts on The Bucks. I'm not much of a fan personally but they've had some great matches and are definitely influential. Can't stand most things about them though.
What are they selling? Because it sure as shit isn't their opponent's offense.
That's pretty good lol.

Yes, that I agree with.

If you just want to have fun watching a match, tune in to a Young Bucks PPV match (if you can appreciate that style - I can in small doses, some people cannot at all).

Character work is pretty bad, but I think it is somewhat on purpose. Their entire stick is "killing the business". They decided to do everything people told them not to because that was the only way for them to stand out. They probably could wrestle like FTR, but they would never had made it to the big time. I do not think anyone can say they are not great athletes. Even if they decided to do everything a guy like Cornette wants them to do, he would still not like them because of their lack of size/look. So, for them, it was a matter of finding THEIR niche.

They found what worked for them and monetized it heavily. In that sense, one cannot deny their influence/success. In ring? Character work? Yeah, at the end of the day, it is mostly a matter of preference.

FTR and the Bucks are two polar opposite teams in terms of style but they both put on such epic clashes on a consistent basis.

Personally, I like FTR a bit more in straight forward tag matches, but the Bucks are second to none at putting together big clusterf*** matches together such as 3v3, 4v4, and so on. There's a reason they've been successful trio partners next to least a half dozen others such as Omega, Page, Ibushi, Cole, Styles, etc.

I think once Kyle O'Reilly gets healthy and assuming he gets paired with Strong, they soar up high in the ranks for me. Some of their takeover matches and NXT matches are the best I've ever seen. ReDragon had some excellent matches in their short AEW stint too before Bobby Fish left.
