Meh. The vignettes are cool and I love the dynamic between the two, but making MJF a total loser sucks. What he is doing in this match is incredibly stupid.

This is great. Mjf has great range. There will be plenty of time for him to be a shit bag heel

He has been literally doing comedy wrestling. Santino Marella level of comedy

Match was entertaining, but I do not want to see the World Champ being such a geek in the ring.

The promos are great though and MJF/Cole have great chemistry, so I am willing to see where it goes. I would just like the matches to be a little more serious

I didn't really notice comedy wrestling in that match? Not sure if you can point to specific spots? Most of the goofy stuff was pre match with him playing up Cole's entrance....I mean MJF basically just worked the match as a face and they were in a match with two hosses so it made sense. Not sure if I am just missing some ridiculous comedy spot but I don't think my memory is that bad.

The failed body slams were comedy. I gotta give them that it set a huge pop, but it was still "tongue-in-cheek" wrestling.

The entire match was constructed to be funny.

I guess it is not that much different than the Rock and Sock stuff I liked as a kid... but it does hit differently when you are in your late 30s and not your early teens.

Anyway, it was a fun little match, just not what I like the most from a main event guy.

Notice the pop on MJF’s body slam. Wrestlers need to watch him, 3/4 of them are killing themselves for the same pop. MJF is not only better than them…he is also smarter than them. I literally can’t wait for them to hit a double clothesline.
