Oh I agree, I can't imagine not watching, especially if we win. Do they just not watch Friday too then? Feels really soft to call yourself a fan only to say that you won't watch a 2nd round game because you're too frustrated with the team. Oh well.
Believe it or not, many Leafs fans think these guys lay and egg tonight and for that reason won't bother watching. I'm watching to see if any of the petit 4 show up and/or they mail it in.

Maybe go all in for Saros if he is going to be available? Maybe dangle Nylander for someone like that? Leafs need a legit starter. If a new GM comes, nothing is off the table certainly.
Saros would be good. Don't think this will ever happen but prying Swayman out of Boston would be cool as well.

Moving Willie is gonna leave a massive hole up front. We do plug a big hole in goal though.

My thinking is - if they lose tonight, you feel the same way you did since Sunday night. If they win tonight, you feel slightly optimistic and feel invested to watch Friday.

We've been through a lot as fans. I can't imagine feeling worse losing tonight than I did after losing to Montreal, and it's already been 3 days of being annoyed since Sunday, so I'm not really hurting myself watching tonight. I'll also have a hard time taking the person seriously when they share opinions this summer, for example, if they couldn't even be bothered to watch the last game.

Possible if he has a good camp but I think they resign Sammy and buyout/dump Murray.
No. Let Sammy walk and just bite the bullet on Murray. or Maybe Murray will go on LTIR and retire after next season.

I am just spit balling.

So what is the solution? Definitely bring the 4 amigos back for another go?
Gonna know what is going on from the inside to decide who stays and who goes. I'd inquire about Saros and Helly. Something tells me the Jets might be more willing to move their #1 guy and could include Connor or Ehlers to replace some of Nylander's goal.

Korpisalo might also become available if the Kings get Helly.

I'm interested in Guentzal from Pittsburgh, they're likely looking for a shakeup as well and he's produced very well in the playoffs. Long term he shouldn't cost more than 7.5-8 million a year

Problem with Murray is he can't be counted on, period. I mean most said the Murray trade will be judged by what he does in the playoffs. Well here we are on the brink of another loss and Murray hasn't played a single second.

At this point, may as well go down with the ship and say goodbye to this era. At the very least, it was a memorable 7 years.
Exactly man, been here from start to finish. If this is the end, it is certainly an unfortunate one that was built with such high expectations.

A win is what I want, and then another and... but, on the flip side, it will be fascinating to see where the organization goes if they do lose tonight (or when they lose in general).

Part of it wasted by a rookie GM who had to change gears when his speed and skill plan failed with guys like Petan and Malgin. But his absolute devotion to the core and Keefe will be his downfall.
I still think back to the end of season presser last year and how arrogant they came off as

Losing when your bottom 6, goalie and d play awful, but losing when your superstars don't show up...is cause for more concern. They needed more support, they got it.
I would bench MM tonight, not even dress him.

Mitch should spend all day on social media putting shambles in his head. He's been a f***ing loser all this time while avoiding it.
