f***s sake I have such little faith but I do hope they can do the impossible starting tonight. They aren’t technically dead yet but holy shit if they haven’t given us zero reason to believe.
Same! Not even mad.Kid has tryouts for hockey tonight. I am going to watch the harder working team.
It takes 4 wins to win a series. This ain't over. We win 1 and it's 3-1. We had a 3-1 lead against the Habs and we know how that went. Just win 1 tonight and build from there. The odds are against us, but it's not over.By implying another shitstorm is coming, you're suggesting we've escaped the previous one.
We haven't.
Hoping they just lose tonight and wrap it up - I'm done with them, and the idea of them prolonging this is just nauseating to me.
Holy.
I'm starting to think Marner's horrible media rant and complete no show has some thing to do with being rested a game and not achieving the 100 point milestone. Throw in all the times he's redeemed himself and the trauma he still has from being car jacked around the same time last year... I kind of feel for the guy and love him as a player but wtf is going on in his head. This is emotion yes , this also a one way ticket to being labelled a problem.
If he purposely caved in a series to get back at someone or for not reaching a milestone what the FK was the point of it all.
Did Babcock mess with him that much??
Did he flip those puck over the glass on purpose????
That was the intention.
I wouldn’t say it’s an expiry date… it’s more like they are stale. The Bruins are hitting their expiry date, we have an open bag of chips that has lost its crunch. 7 years with the same core with 1 playoff round win is unacceptable with the talent we have. If we lose tonight, I want a massive over haul. I don’t mean just trading 1 of the core and keeping Dubas and re tooling. Nooo, players, coaches, executives should all feel some sort of heat for massively under achieving
If Vegas and Seattle can have the success they have had in the short time they did then there is no reason the leafs cant do the same if they decide to blow it all up. The stuff we could get back for our guys would be big I would think.I wouldn’t say it’s an expiry date… it’s more like they are stale. That is a definate possibility. I can say that half of my buddies tuned out the leafs for the first time in many many years this past season waiting for the playoffs and if they run it back I think the other half will follow.I am just concerned there are some injuries to some of the core 4 guys that will be used as an excuse or a justification that will buy them another year at least. And everybody will be brought back. I pray that is not the case.

Nice. It's funny how everyone expects Florida to just lie down and let the leafs own their asses
Florida is hungry .I look for Tkachuk to grab some headlines
My kids played up to junior b.loved every minute of it
Now 1 a social worker and is an analyst for a software company
So the sun does come up the next day lol
Leafs are Lucy holding the football and the rest of us are Charlie BrownOne game at a time. Win tonight and build some confidence + momentum to take home
Florida is not unbeatable
I think he starts as number 1A with Murray the 1b then Kallgren because the backup after Murray completes his 25 games.I jut hope the guys in front of him do not hang him out to dry. He should start next season as our backup.
I haven't heard anyone say they aren't watching.Anyone have any friends or family who say they 'can't' watch tonight? As in are too upset/frustrated to bother watching? I get it in theory but feels really weak if you consider yourself a fan. Trying not to chirp or make them feel bad, but just feels lame to me lol.
Possible if he has a good camp but I think they resign Sammy and buyout/dump Murray..

Oh I agree, I can't imagine not watching, especially if we win. Do they just not watch Friday too then? Feels really soft to call yourself a fan only to say that you won't watch a 2nd round game because you're too frustrated with the team. Oh well.I haven't heard anyone say they aren't watching.
Can't imagine why any fan wouldn't watch unless they are unable to.
