Even as an early pick, Casey will be in tough to make the WJC team in the summer or in the winter.

Hughes, Peart, and Hudson are likely ahead in terms of PP options so I really don't see a role unless he impresses defensively.
RIP Neil Peart

was hoping to talk to him about where/how he fished instate when he was up here yesterday haha
Well he mentioned Erskine Lakes...I am sure he is messing around with bass, crappie and perch kind of stuff on those lakes.

I'm halfway through watching the red and white game, and I have to say he's been the best defenseman on either team. Made some sneaky good defensive plays and several great stretch passes.

Oof then he just walked Holtz down the wall and set up a great chance.

Casey looks very good . If he was 2-3 inches taller and still moved the way he does , he would not be on the Devils right now as he would have gone very early in the draft.
Im not saying his height will prevent him from being a good effective Dman , I reallly like the pick , just the only way I thimk we got him where we did was because of his size.

I really liked this pick along with Brennan and Baraboosha.
