They're examples of why nobody should be upset about trading prospects. They were both viewed positively at different points in time, but they both are terrible right now when we need them to be better. It takes too long for these guys to get good enough, if they ever do, in order to help a team that is looking to compete now.

Anders Lee is done in my opinion. At this point he's a huge detriment on the ice. He can't skate, he's
unbelievably slow and he really should never touch the puck unless he's in front of the net. I can't believe how many bad passes he makes. I cringe when I see him with the puck in the neutral zone because I know
he'll be turning the puck over. I don't know what the Isles are going to do with his contract going forward.

Lot of soft play and defense with their heads in the clouds. Take 6 penalties you’re gonna lose.

Not pinning the game on aho and salo but having those two out there and playing extra mins with pelech out hurts a lot.

Worst part is we had this game, 2 posts away from taking the lead or at least taking it to OT but instead we blow it with under 3 to go. Completely blew it tonight.

My 74 year old mom paid me a surprise visit and watched her first game of the year. She said we’re too old, our GM is too old, and though it’s hard to uproot your family you have to go to Nelson and Lee and say thank you for everything but give 5 places you’d be willing to go. We are not making the playoffs this year only Sorokin plays like God and quite frankly his play of late is scaring me to the point that maybe it’s not a given that 2 years from now when he turns 30 we give him a Bobrosky contract.

Well, it's true that I didn't play hockey in Canada, if that's what you're driving at.

HOWEVER, the fact that you prefer a player that hasn't done a damn thing in the NHL this season (and isn't currently in the League) over a a player who, while definitely flawed, has at least proved to be somewhat useful this season tells me all I need to know about YOUR hockey knowledge.

Aho is terrible. It's ridiculous to compare Salo to him. Salo has barely played while Aho has gotten regular shifts. He is at the top of his game and it's not NHL quality. He started the ball rolling with multiple turnovers leading to that 5v3 and was Johnny on the spot for goals 1 and 4. Enough already. Make a trade before its too late
