They are cheering Igor? They all must be new!

He is terrible tonight!
Speaking of which, can I get a grammatical check? When Ranger fans write/say…

“Igor’s Better!”

Isn’t that apostrophe possessive. Therefore, saying that Igor has a better?

Lambert vs Trotz, more than the offensive vs defensive focus; the most noticeable difference to me is that Trotz teams rarely seemed to “shoot themselves in the foot.”

No. In this case it's a contraction for "Igor is." Same as if you'd said "That's better" or "Who's better."

"Igor's pads" would be possessive, unless you're saying "igor is pads," in which case you'd probably write it out to avoid confusion.

I fully understand that Ranger fans’ intent is to say:

Igor’s better than Vasilevskiy”

But the following would also work, correct?

“Vasilevskiy is Igor’s better

I calls them as I sees them. And I see it again right here. So you reap what you sew, dopey. Your opinion is dopey, and so are your reading comprehension skills. You're too dopey to even realize the irony of you calling out others for their inability to read.

Gotta try something different. Especially if Cizikas can't go.
You certainly "Strum" a lot of "Gas", unfortunately the GAS is foul ! It’s posters like you that taint the generally great isles fan base but have a Merry Christmas

Lee is by far not a problem, not any kind of an immediate one anyways.

Barzal is just too undisciplined, too many dumbass passes.

Bo.....is a feather....no presence

Bailey....always like him, but I think he is done, I think he thinks he is done.

I like Fasching and think Holmstom too will be good bottom sixers

Wally.....not holding my breath, but it is still a toss up?

So.....we need at least 2 top 6 players, if not 3.....that is going to be unattainable. Not sure one moves the needle.

Ok, and Salo....wow, that was awful.....pretty sure I would bet he is not going to stick around.

It’s a typo. Igor has a guy who places his wagers on DraftKings.

It’s supposed to be “Igor’s Bettor”

He put a few rubles on the Isles last night based on his performance.

Was Barzal involved in the okays that led to the GWG and EN? Asking for a friend…

Was Barzal involved in the plays where he was 10’ in front of the net and didn’t shoot?

Barzal has been pretty avg the last couple games. Needs to simplify his game. He also needs help. He is playing with 2 anchors that are basically doing nothing game. Bailey esp. Lou’s gotta do something. We aren’t going to make the playoffs with the worst first line in the NHL.

Barzal could indeed stand to have better linemates. However, a lot of the criticism thrown his way is over self-inflicted wounds; his reluctance to shoot, his reluctance to drive the net, his over-handling the puck in some instances, and his wishful thinking passing at times. And to me, those are all fair game. Perhaps he wouldn't feel obligated to do everything himself if he had better linemates (if that is indeed why he makes some of the decisions he does), but those are still choices he's made.

Lee was never a great skater. But it's rarely a detriment to his team. He's been successful in this League despite that. I'm not sure what your getting at with the "playing in all three zones" statement. I don't believe Anders Lee has ever been a defensive liability. Has he slowed a bit more than he already was? It appears that he might have. Will he be an anchor by the end of this contract? Maybe. But he's pretty far down on the list on problems this team has, both overall and certainly tonight. So I stand by my statement that your post was bizarre tonight, considering that there were WAY more obvious culprits who could've been the subject of a rant. It stunk of personal vendetta.

I don't really get into the trade value of players, probably because they're relative to so many factors at the time a trade is actually made. So maybe you're right about that he would only go for a 3rd rounder, but don't be terribly surprised when a team gives up more than that under a particular set of circumstances.

Exactly. Barzal is a 50/50 player, as much dazzle as fail. Not much in between. He is no Barkov, Bergeron, Crosby etc. He hurts as much as helps. In some ways he is DP without the pads lol. NOT a $9.1MM player who can lead your team or even your offense,

And they are pretty bad.
So Far I had Isles being better without Tavares - Check
Reinhart/MDC/Bellows being busts - Check
Had JHS as a player somewhere - Wrong
Isles not making the playoffs if no move before Christmas Trade Freeze - Waiting
Wahlstrom becoming a bust - Waiting

So to me, that looks like 4 for 5 with 2 pending. I will take that for being pretty Bad

Aho is terrible. It's ridiculous to compare Salo to him. Salo has barely played while Aho has gotten regular shifts. He is at the top of his game and it's not NHL quality. He started the ball rolling with multiple turnovers leading to that 5v3 and was Johnny on the spot for goals 1 and 4. Enough already. Make a trade before its too late
You mean before it's too late for next year right?

Barzal is way down list of problems to be honest.
I'd have to go along with you on that!

Do we have enough division games left to make a difference? I think four Pens games left (1 more than our season series with the rags), 1 Devil and a handful of Caps/Canes. Depends on the cost and our health. We went into the break with Nelson/Homstrom/Varly/Clutter/Zeke/Palmieri/Pelech all question marks.

I am not ready to give up on the season. However, If Nelson/Zeke/ Pelech are out for a while...

I think we'll be in the hunt for awhile. I wouldn’t make any radical moves just to get an 8th seed. Injuries are piling up and we'll probably incur more. Besides, even when healthy, we're not a lock to get in

Nonetheless, me and my son will be rooting every game for first goal of the game points, brawls and.....oh yeah.....wins!
