Torturing ourselves with “what could have beens” is simply a rite of passage as a Canucks fan.

Enjoy the night.
I don't like crapping on the whole fan base, loud mouths stand out. Oilers deserve to be there but I was never more scarred this playoffs than game 6 against the Canucks, could have gone either way. Losing to the Canucks would have been excruciating but that is why it was so exciting. I want every Canadian team to be competitive it makes for the best games/series.

The nucks? They were frauds, tough goaltending and sickness was the reason it went 7.

I wanted you all to lose until after Game 6, because I was hurting so bad.

But I wanna witness the comeback, I wanna witness McDavid hoist it, and make hockey the most talked about North American sport for at least a while.

I get goosebumps thinking about how epic it would be, and I hate you guys so much. It's just magic.
I love Quinn Hughes and I want to see him hoist the cup.
so close for you guys,,,
it'll happen

There's a lot of fans and people that have had a hate on for the Oilers, but are enjoying this ride. I say, everyone is welcome on our bandwagon. Once it's over, they can all f*** off again. Hopefully, no one is petty enough to say no.
Biz has been obnoxious about it though. Feels disingenuous now that he’s cheering for the Oilers.

A lot of their fanbase is like that poster and seem to have moved on and want to see history made (even though they still hate the Oilers). But I’m definitely tired of hearing from some clinging to the Demko out and Boeser out (for game 7). It would be a reasonable excuse (but still annoying) if Silovs looked like crap and goaltending “did them in”. It’s like you said, the Oilers illnesses and bad goaltending (honestly a lot of this was psychological IMO) that series that prolonged it. Oilers were already banged up with guys playing through injuries by the end as well

Curious that in game 2 Leon Draisaitl took liberties with Sasha Barkov sending a message. To that point in series Panthers were physically running the series. People called it a bad penalty. Was it? I said it was a wake up call that the Oilers can play dirty too and a reminder to Panthers and his own club. Oilers were tentative early in series and not being physical enough.

Same game as the penalty on Barkov Leon did a couple reverse hits on Bennett. McDrai were the most physical Oilers early in series. Now everybody has been on board.

Special place in my heart for Janmark though. Will never forget how hard and tireless he's worked and done every role asked of him. What a player.

Janmark is a junk yard dog. He ain't afraid of no Panthers.
Janmark is the type of guy who would fight to his last breath even if he was mortally wounded in a war. No fear, just battles to the bitter end

Kinda funny seeing fans around the league for the most part supporting us now.

Although I have to say, Habs fans in particular have been nice for several rounds. Special shoutout to them, let’s do this for Canada

Yup, I gotta say I view Habs fans differently than I did before this run. Seems like only them and Sens fans that were rooting for the Oilers early on (not all of them, of course, but a lot from each). Props to them for the support
