Can Jenner skate well anymore?

Not as fast, no. Injuries have taken a toll on his speed. He was an ELITE skater before.

Right around 50% league wide in top speed now, but still a powerful and good skater. Speed has come down, but still very strong on his feet. Powerful strides, edges, takes the right paths, he is a high IQ guy which helps.

Jenner only turned 33 two weeks ago, he's not as old as people might think. I don't think he's washed, either. He produced at a similar pace last year as he was producing like 4 years ago.

He never plays a full season though, he's similar to Nuke and Lehky on that front.

He skates well. Not enough to be a great C but will still be very effective on the wing.

I was expecting a 4th liner, a 13th forward, and a 7D, so given the contract, I'll probably be happy with anything more than that.

Drouin would be unexpected for me though. They don't usually revisit guys like that.

The issue here being, it's not a 21 year old player coming off from and ELC, but a 26 year old player who we already hava data on what he is.
