I believe it is just that the condition only applies for the first two rounds. If they get bounced in round 1 while Marchand plays 50%+, the condition is fulfilled.

He is a UFA at the end of the season why give up a draft pick. He isn’t happy without trading one. I don’t get it

If he is a UFA, they better sign him, otherwise they threw a pick away for 20 RS games.

He’s 25 and on a trash Buffalo team last year was +14 and +6 this year

I’m assuming they have seen him so much they want to get him in here make certain they will give him a multi year deal

I’m good with that 4 it’s an investment

he’s a former first rounder mid twenties this is a solid pickup to see if you want to extend
