Right now it's looking like Hagens, Martone, Misa and Schaefer are the top 4 so it would be nice to be in that range to nab one of them.

Lots can and probably will change as the season goes on though. Hopefully Frondell starts to rip it up, McQueen returns and plays really well, Desnoyers keeps it up, etc. The more top end players in the draft the better.

The more I look at Michael Misa, the more I think that after Martone and Hagens, he would be my choice. He has the hockey IQ, the shot, the skating and I see him as a true center.

Unfortunately, he won't crack the top 5 and will no longer be available with our second first-round pick. Lakovic would be my pick with our second first round.

I mean we can always hope he's there for our 2nd first round pick, but that depends obviously where the Flames finish. If they finish where we hope and the pick is between 11th and 15th there's a chance and if they really love him, maybe they can move up a couple of spots with one of their 2nds to secure him.

We need and want to get a top 5 pick this year.
There’s no clear #1 and Hagens is default top prospect.

James Hagens
Porter Martone
Matthew Scheafer
Anton Frondell
Michael Misa

Anyone of these guys.

Wife would find my body spent on the living room sofa, most erotic draft.

Demidov Hage followed by Martone Spence Fiddler would be so sick
Don't know where Fiddler might end up being drafted but he probably is the most logical and reasonably possible pick for us.

Martone we would need to win 1 of the lotteries and Spence, we would need Calgary's pick to be 11-15OA.

Haven't paid much attention to Fiddler TBH, I'll have to make it a point to catch at least one Oil Kings game the next time I watch the dub. He seems to be the complete opposite of his old man in just about every way possible.

I'm 100% for Martone, Hagens or Misa with Habs. What will be very fun to add a player like that.

Imagine Demidov and Hage will coming aswell.

The talent up front, will be incredible!!

Forward or D, take the best BPA, but if we are in top 5 and one of 3 forwards I said are there, they are 100% BPA.

Its looking more and more like the top 4 (maybe 5 with McQueen or Frondell) will be a group of their own. Finishing outside that group of player would disastrous after what seems to a terrible season in the making.

If they finished outside of that group, they'd have made the season not so disastrous.
