By the looks of it we should be picking a RD with our first pick tbh.
Hensler is my pick.

Unless we get a top 5 again and one of Martone, Misa or Frondell being there, even Ryabkin might go before Hensler for me.

Then i'd take a RHD with our second pick
Trethewey could be a great pick.
Not sure about Mrtka though don't really like him.
I really like Fiddler though, if we get Florida's pick around #28 Fiddler would be my pick.

I think we're good with our LHD
Hutson and Guhle being our top 4.
Then Wifi, Struble, Engstrom, Trudeau, pretty solid there

Center is B+ with : Suzuki, Hage, Dach, Evans. Beck.

Wingers is A- with : Slaf, Demidov, CC, Laine, Newhook, Heinemen, Kapanen, Roy.

RHD is C- with : Reinbacher, Mailloux, Barron, Bogdan, Pretty sad tbh.

Right now it's looking like Hagens, Martone, Misa and Schaefer are the top 4 so it would be nice to be in that range to nab one of them.

Lots can and probably will change as the season goes on though. Hopefully Frondell starts to rip it up, McQueen returns and plays really well, Desnoyers keeps it up, etc. The more top end players in the draft the better.

The more I look at Michael Misa, the more I think that after Martone and Hagens, he would be my choice. He has the hockey IQ, the shot, the skating and I see him as a true center.

Love what I see from Desnoyers at the moment as well.
Unfortunately, he won't crack the top 5 and will no longer be available with our second first-round pick. Lakovic would be my pick with our second first round.

I mean we can always hope he's there for our 2nd first round pick, but that depends obviously where the Flames finish. If they finish where we hope and the pick is between 11th and 15th there's a chance and if they really love him, maybe they can move up a couple of spots with one of their 2nds to secure him.

We need and want to get a top 5 pick this year.
There’s no clear #1 and Hagens is default top prospect.

James Hagens
Porter Martone
Matthew Scheafer
Anton Frondell
Michael Misa

Anyone of these guys.
