FLEECING them at that price. Take it and run.

I do think Gallagher is gone, it's inevitable, they just need a bid at the right price and they'll accept. The fact that he'll be at Spurs is gross.

Chelsea fans should absolutely riot if Gallagher is sold and there had been just one way to spare him. I'll fully admit to thinking he was a good player but was getting a bit of folk hero hype because he was a performing player on a dysfunctional club but he's very very good.

I'd be mad if he was just a folk hero.

Unfortunately he's also f***ing brilliant.

I'm still mad about how the club pushed Mount out the door with two hands, but Gallagher would be a lot worse.

I think, however, that a sale is not going to happen. I don't think Spurs will match valuation, but (more importantly) I also do not think Gally will sanction it.

I'd agree on the folk hero part. We certainly have had better players come through the club and we have players with higher potential on the club. It's just insane to sell one of our top 3 players on the club mid-season, and then try and argue that results this season matter.

It wouldn't be as bad if Ezno and Caicedo were playing up to their ability or transfer fees.

I'm just preparing myself for a worst case deadline day disaster.

Don't really care about Arsenal rumours because we ain't buying anybody except if we're able to get somebody they really like on loan (which is looking very unlikely at this stage).

Nonetheless, here are the fake rumours for today/tomorrow...

- Arsenal going after Xavi Simons

- Arsenal going after Ben Sesko (seems we've been linked to him for like 4 windows so far)

- Arsenal going after Alphonos Davis

- Arsenal going after Ivan Toney

- After Mazraoui

- After Callum effin Wilson (lol)

- After Mitoma (random considering in what way Brighton would sell him this winter)

- Soares might go to Turkey

- A lot of rumours of Kiwior going back to Italy and I don't really understand why. What I mean by a lot, I mean since the actual time Arsenal bought him, he's been rumoured of leaving. He's been linked to Inter, AC (now), Genoa, Napoli, Lazio, Bologna, Empoli, Roma, Atalanta, the lot.

He's done

Last I heard he has it done with Barça for 7+3 Million €. Would join in summer

People with good inside knowledge to Djurgården has long claimed that it isn't as close as Romano and more make it seem. And yesterday there where som whispers that he had travelled to England to visit a club or two.

But we will see, still think Barcelona could happen, but I don't think it is as done as barca media has claimed. Options are still being considered.

7+3 would be a robbery, but it seems there might have been some sort of gentlemen's agreement or something between the club and Bergvall when he joined Djurgården, so it won't necessary be the highes bidder

Chelsea need more money to acquire some brazilian wonderkids.

Rumors that we might be after a backup striker as Durán is out until march/april with a hamstring

Bologna pays 12 mil for 19yo Argentinian striker Santiago Castro. I wonder what that means for Zirkzee. I know nothing about the kid but nothing about his scoring/underlying numbers makes me think he's close to being Serie A quality (or even Argentinian first division to be fair). He's been good for the youth teams of Argentina though, already a regular for the U23 at 19.

Scored already for his new team

Yeah, we'll miss him. It's crazy how much he improved the past few seasons. When he arrived he was the quintessential 'all speed & no skill' player, but then when Kruse left it was like he left his magic with Sheraldo.

I like this kid, wishing him good luck

He's done

Well he’s obviously not the same as his prime, but all things considered I’d say that’s harsh. The reason it was somewhat surprising though is that he has the 2nd more league minutes for Sevilla this season and 2 goals and 4 assists between the league and CL. I think he was at least vice-captain as well.

The big three that Chelsea are being killed by are Cucurella, Sterling, and Fofana. Probably just have to eat Fofana and hope he recovers form.

Thiago Silva leaving this summer and Badiashile has looked awful this year. Looks like the player @Evilo described rather than the one who was basically our best CB the latter half of last season when Thiago fell off, although Koulibaly was good too. The Chelsea CB rumors kind of seem to make sense? Don’t know if we have an internal solution but I remember one of the prospects looking good in pre-season. Not sure how their loan has gone as I don’t follow that stuff.

Some Davies murmurs. Gotta get out of Cucurella and cut the losses. And we sold Maatsen. Idk. I think Chilwell and Reece are both fantastic players, and some of the best in the world but they legit cannot stay fit… so you have to buy quality. Would rather see us go young here as well.

I don’t really want us to buy another attacker that isn’t a pure goal scorer. Mudryk, Razz, Palmer, Nkunku, Chukwuemeka, Noni… there’s bodies for those AM positions. Also Jackson has looked somewhat more comfortable playing off the left in space at times.

Think Chelsea need that league cup a lot more than Liverpool do. But I just think Liverpool will be on such a high and Salah will be fit for that match. Plus Klopp and Pochettino don’t belong in the same conversation. Poch needs to prove himself going toe to toe with a big manager, and we need to be in Europe badly .

I want to see Gallagher stay. But when you run the numbers of giving him 150k p/w (although I assume that figure is horseshit and Chelsea wants that figure out there as justification to sell him).. you can kinda see the ffp justification.

He runs, and I think he outplayed Enzo most of the season, but at the end of the day, we need to get better. I love Gallagher as a squad player in the 18 and if he wants to be paid to come off the bench and be a versatile backup, I want to keep him. But I don’t buy into him being a starter in a club with x aspirations. I just don’t.
