The big three that Chelsea are being killed by are Cucurella, Sterling, and Fofana. Probably just have to eat Fofana and hope he recovers form.

Thiago Silva leaving this summer and Badiashile has looked awful this year. Looks like the player @Evilo described rather than the one who was basically our best CB the latter half of last season when Thiago fell off, although Koulibaly was good too. The Chelsea CB rumors kind of seem to make sense? Don’t know if we have an internal solution but I remember one of the prospects looking good in pre-season. Not sure how their loan has gone as I don’t follow that stuff.

Some Davies murmurs. Gotta get out of Cucurella and cut the losses. And we sold Maatsen. Idk. I think Chilwell and Reece are both fantastic players, and some of the best in the world but they legit cannot stay fit… so you have to buy quality. Would rather see us go young here as well.

I don’t really want us to buy another attacker that isn’t a pure goal scorer. Mudryk, Razz, Palmer, Nkunku, Chukwuemeka, Noni… there’s bodies for those AM positions. Also Jackson has looked somewhat more comfortable playing off the left in space at times.

Think Chelsea need that league cup a lot more than Liverpool do. But I just think Liverpool will be on such a high and Salah will be fit for that match. Plus Klopp and Pochettino don’t belong in the same conversation. Poch needs to prove himself going toe to toe with a big manager, and we need to be in Europe badly .

I want to see Gallagher stay. But when you run the numbers of giving him 150k p/w (although I assume that figure is horseshit and Chelsea wants that figure out there as justification to sell him).. you can kinda see the ffp justification.

He runs, and I think he outplayed Enzo most of the season, but at the end of the day, we need to get better. I love Gallagher as a squad player in the 18 and if he wants to be paid to come off the bench and be a versatile backup, I want to keep him. But I don’t buy into him being a starter in a club with x aspirations. I just don’t.
Yeah Badia is a big potential, low IQ guy. If he learns from his mistakes, he can be very very good.
However, Monaco torched you guys on Badia+Disasi. Amazing.
I can't think of a serious professionnal scout and sporting director that would want to spend that much on those two after their showing at Monaco. Badia, half of me understands, Disasi, just wow.

Reyna to Forrest on a six month loan is all but official, no option to buy. He also extended his contract with Dortmund to 2026.

This seems like lets get him in the shop window of some teams for 6 months and sell in in the summer for closer to what he is probably worth. Whether Forrest it the right destination for that is the question. He does have talent.

Duncan McGuire to Blackburn Rovers from Orlando for 4mil plus add-ons. Only has one professional year after coming out of college, so possibly too soon a move, but he is only on 60k a year salary so its hard to turn down championship money. Orlando keeps being able to find center forwards in the draft (Larin, Dike, now McGuire).

Well this is outta nowhere.

Supposedly going on loan to a Championship side immediately. One of those things where I doubt he would ever be able to break in with Arsenal, and while Villa is very good this season, I can understand him thinking that he would have a better chance there, while, for Arsenal, it's a chance to offload an academy guy for some cash. Similar to Bradly Ibrahim heading to Hertha Berlin.

and unsurprisingly, came from the west brom academy (whom we took their whole staff a few years ago) when he was there.

apparently, the move has fallen apart with him on a flight to England.

I think this could be the worst winter window I have ever seen in my life. Absolutely no movement and the movement that has happened has been duds.

I watched Monaco a lot when Kovac was their manager. Never ever ever did I think Badiashile and Disasi would be moving to Chelsea for like combined 80m a year onwards.

And somehow Fofana is still at Monaco and apparently overlooked. On half the teams in the top half of the EPL he'd be the best midfielder.

Chicago are close to acquiring Gent striker Hugo Cuypers for €13M but only if Gent find a replacement today. Cuypers is the reigning top goalscorer in the Belgian League, he had 27 goals last season although this season he his been a bit more of a set up man.

In a surprise move for a team that has no right wingers United loans out Pellistri to Granada.

Porto buys interesting Brazilian center back Otavio (very good underlying numbers) from Famalicao. I guess they were missing having a player with that name on the roster.

Dahoud's Premier League adventure is over too, loaned back to the Bundesliga, this time to Stuttgart.

Luiz Henrique from Betis to Botafogo, 20 mil with bonuses, the highest price a Brazilian club ever paid for a player. A player I like who I felt Pellegrini didn't like too much though. Betis does good business with him, after buying him for 8 mil.
