My issue is, I think a central defender is needed. But they need a guy who can play a lot. I don't think that was in the cards this window.

Forward, I think there's already not enough time for players, and I think you see that with Gakpo.

See I don’t think they need a guy that can play a lot. But a utility guy would be nice. But again if they get healthy this is definitely mitigated a bit. I just see a hole with the Joel Matip injury. Yeah you can slide Quansah up but again that creates another hole. And that’s the one I’m trying to fill

There’s always room for more forwards

- Arsenal selling Ibrahim to Herth Berlin, but has a priority buy-back clause in his contract where they have first dibs.

- Arsenal selling Sousa to Aston Villa, which was posted some days ago I believe.

- Arsenal recalled Marquinhos from Nantes, who could be sold back to Brasilian Serie A.

- Arsenal loaned Rekik to Suisse.

Villa finally bite the bullet with Traore and let him go to Villarreal on a free.

Andrey Santos is loaned out by Chelsea to Strasbourg, and another loan takes Mangala to Lyon from Forest. The loan sum is almost 12 million, I wonder what the story is there, that would be the most expensive loan I remember.

Barca in the mud!
Spurs started Skipp in midfield the last game ... Barcelona's latest midfield three were de Jong, Pedri and Gundogan. Easy choice for the kid really.

Now I understand why Enes Unal didn't play against Real tonight, he's going to Bournemouth. And Rennes' right back Assignon to Burnley. Both loans.

Always fun to see a fellow countryman at Spurs.

I do wonder how this will impact their already talented academy midfielders in Donley and Devine however.

Skipp has started 4 matches, he's 6th choice. Skipp would be Romeu.

It's a joke Mr Luigi!

But seriously he joins an exciting youth group. If half of these guys pan out we're looking good.

That's a weird way to evaluate a central defender.

You never answered my question. Were you speaking about Romero?
Yeah, the better way is xG, where Gabriel excels. And he scores more than Maddison to boot.

Yes, I thought it was fairly obvious. And you’ll get defensive because you think he’s great because he’s a butcher.
