Not saying it's an easy win, no game is, but Tampa doesn't scare me very much. There's only so much Kucherov can do on his own. They have Cirelli as a top line center, Chaffee and Paul on the 2nd line, Hedman and McDonagh have slowed down a lot, Moser shouldn't be top pairing, Cernak is overrated, Perbix spotted us a couple goals by himself last game. Just awful depth and I could easily see them missing the playoffs.

Lowry and Nino looked bad a couple of times (thanks to said ice)

I'm hoping for a 2nd unit PP goal.
That seems to be a quiet part of our dominance.
Teams think they've escaped the PP because they cleared the puck with a minute or less left and then our 2nd unit strikes to burst their bubble.

Speaking of bursting bubbles: on the powerplay this season so far, Pionk is shooting 100%, Niederreiter is shooting 50%, Perfetti is shooting 43%, Iafallo is shooting 40%...and Names is shooting 0%.

So what I'm saying is that this seems unsustainable - Namestnikov is due!

Some of my bikinis might get some sort of reaction from some of the Jets, but I don't think rolling would be one of them. Besides, it's only +4C here today and with the wind off Simcoe it feels like -20C so the bikinis stay in the bottom drawer until spring.

Having to make "Great Expectations" relevant to last year's illiterate high school graduates is about as far from academic excellence as you can get!

We need Comrie to play well in general this year. Especially with this start, if Comrie plays well, Hellebuyck can probably be kept to like 55-60 starts.

I'm looking forward to this game, even if I can only watch it while marking. All I ever hear about in these parts is endless speculation over how long Austen will be out and whether Marner is the coach's whipping boy or the next coming of Connor Blessed Be His Name McDavid.
