But man, we have decent young assets. We don’t have to go down to 90 to 100 losses again. Do not want. A new GM, who is relatively smart, should retool this relatively quickly. No way we have to suffer through more seasons like from 2017 to 2020. F that.

If they find a couple of legitimate top tier bats in the offseason (not Kiermaier and Turner) then yeah, I'm fine to try it again. If they can't do that, a full rebuild might be inventible. The current group is probably an 80-82 ish win team.

Turner actually with a good AB and an 8-pitch walk after the first 5 batters went out on 17 pitches, as if they were actually trying to make it easy for a guy in his first MLB start.

I hate hit-and-runs.

We're 33/37 in SB attempts this year. If you're putting the steal sign on ... let the pitch go. You're overwhelmingly likely to be getting a free base.

Felt like Schneider's approach was totally messed up trying to execute the hit-and-run in that AB, and then they got the SB anyway when he struck out.

Yeah he's absolutely crushing the baseball. A tweak to the launch angle will lead to more HRs (and fewer worms massacred)

He's hitting .370 with a .450 OBP over his last ~35 games. He's the best pure hitter in baseball right now and yeah ... the only thing separating him from Aaron Judge results is the launch angle.
