Think about Bedard’s performance last year and then consider that he had not one, but two more chances to play in this tourney.
2? I never thought about that. He does have 2. WOW!!!

**

Just Bedard (and his line) could have 25+ points.

Fantilli and Benson could do something similar on Line 2.

A 3rd line with a 200 foot center in Wright.

A 4th line centered by a player who's good enough to play for the Bruins.

The team would truly challenge 2005 - although, the D would not be as good. It sure would make Christmas fun.

Luneau is the only one.
I thought there MIGHT be a loan or 2 decided on in the next week?

Imagine us with mario lemieux
Been trying to have a better read on some of the guys at camp i dont know much about so watched some video on that Lamoureaux kid, not sure about his skating over there. Hes big and does throw some hits but............
I'm sure there's enough talent to win God. Whether they do or not...

Maybe might get benson and/or poitras but haven’t heard anything about that. Bedard and wright are for sure staying with their teams they proved everything they had to last year wouldn’t make sense to risk injury.

Every year we could run away with tournament if we had all available. Let’s just embrace a lesser team and tighter competition

I disagree about Wright. He probably has more of an injury risk in the AHL.

My guess : They asked him if he wanted to go to Sweden and he said, "No, I've played twice and I want to spend this Christmas with my family".

Can’t believe Cristall didn’t get an invite. Canada is doomed if they’re making selections like that

Fantilli with ANOTHER goal tonight. He's certainly has been impressive in the NHL.

He’s a decent player, but he seemed to be struggling with his confidence at the U18’s, and the HC brass was likely thinking about that when they made this decision. Hopefully, he gets his shot next year.

Same rationale for Bradley Nadeau, Aiden Fink and Riley Heidt? Hockey Canada made more than one questionable selection this year.

Perhaps. Hard to explain the absence of Heidt, particularly when he’s leading the entire league in scoring. I feel that should at least get you a camp invite. So many player options for Canada though, so it’s hard not to snub a few worthy candidates.

I will happily eat my words if Canada wins gold, but this might be the worst group of goaltenders they've ever brought to this tournament.

They won gold with an undrafted goalie last year. Curious if the same things were said then! Canada has actually done well with goalies that didn't have big prospect capital pre draft the last 5 years.
