If he was healthy he'd probably be going 2nd OA.AND healthy

If you think shot selection isn't a part of hockey IQ I think we may have a different opinion on what the term means. I would think about decision making quality + speed, space mapping, timing, predicting and reading the play before it unfolds etc. way before I would ever think about hand eye coordination, but I'm certainly no expert in the subject.
I don't even know how many times this year I saw Matheson totally ignore a wide open Slafkovsky set up for a one timer to take a totally unforced point shot with no lane open that was subsequently blocked. I don't know if I would say that his IQ must be good or else he wouldn't be on the PP when I believe it says more about the quality of our team and having no other better options. He's certainly one of the better offensive dmen in the league but I would attribute it to his all-world skating and physical traits.
You're the first person I see labeling Celebrini as generational
This is getting too real; I’m always disappointed so this doesn’t bode well.Chris Peters mocks Demidov to Habs at 5.
I really hope so. I hope all these mocks having Demidov to the Habs at 5 and us getting our hopes up a bit that it just may happen doesn't end with a team ahead of the Habs or another team trading into the top 4 and doing this to us.Chris Peters mocks Demidov to Habs at 5.
last to draft's we were surprised.
last year D man
and
Salf (though that was a smart idea)
so what is the surprise this year

Boring "surprise": Sennecke when Demidov is still available at 5last to draft's we were surprised.

Has he been reliable in the past?Chris Peters mocks Demidov to Habs at 5.
Hey I get it. I had Lane at 10 in 2022 but I liked his game better than Cole's.I’ll take a crack at posting my top 10:
1- Celebrini
2- Demidov
3- Dickinson
4- sennecke
5- Lindstrom
6- Buium
7- Levshunov
8- iginla
9- Parekh
10- Hutson
Yes I like Cole that much. It is what it is and I’ll own my ranking.
seems that is the game plan I agreeDemidov is there and we take him
seems that is the game plan I agree
HAThis is starting to feel like the Packers being mocked Dejean everywhere and taking an OT though for me lol

If we take BUIUM, Hutson becomes irrelevant.
No.Has he been reliable in the past?
Just read a bit of the Hawks draft thread and they seem to want Demidov very badly. If the Hawks go with Levshunov there might be a bit of an angry mob over there on draft night.
Also saw this in the draft thread on the CBJ board. Do the Jackets need more wingers though?
I've been on HF for almost 20 years and this was the first time I can ever remember being on the Hawks or CBJ board here on HF.
Was just wondering what the fans from these teams were saying about who they'd like their respective teams to pick.LOL you are the scout for HF habs
Iginla or Buuim. With the 5th OA pick, the montreal canadiens are proud to select :
1- Demidov
2- Dickinson or BUIUM
3- Lindstrom
IMO, if Demidov is off the board and one of BUIUM or DICKINSON is still available, you can't take a forward.
Hughes and Gorton are paid millions to be good asset managers. So, we need to take the best player available no matter what.
If we take Dickinson, Guhle becomes irrelevant.
If we take BUIUM, Hutson becomes irrelevant.
Though we need an elite forward and I'm not sure Zegras, Necas or Laine are what we need.
It's a very small, select group. Was just wondering what the fans from these teams were saying about who they'd like their respective teams to pick.
Might try and find my way over to the Ducks board sometime later. Don't think I've ever been on the Ducks board here before either.![]()
