Not my list but I'll break yours down IMO

Celebrini
- Tier -
Silayev
Levshunov
Eiserman
Lindstrom
Demidov
Dickinson
- Tier -
Helenius
Parekh
Catton
-Tier-
Buium
Iginla
MBN
Buium is in that second tier. I would also have Parekh in the second tier imho. I really like that second tier on absolute basis and relative to other drafts. My dream is to get a second pick in that range but I know that’s impossible

Thanks! Where do you see the major drop off in talent in the first round though? Do you think it's a deep first round or do think after the first 12 or 15 or 20 that there is a major drop off.

Every draft, there's a major drop off of talent. Sometimes it's after 7, sometimes, after 10. Where do you guys see a major drop off of talent in this draft?

Celebrini
Silayev
Levshunov
Eiserman
Lindstrom
Demidov
Dickinson
Helenius
Parekh
Catton
Buium
Iginla
MBN

All of these players could be in the Top 10 (MBN may be a bit of a long shot).

Is there anybody else you would put in this category? How do you see the talent drop off?
Off the top of my head, really quick without much order in between tiers.
Tier 1
Celebrini
Tier 2
Demidov
Levshunov
Tier 3
Lindstrom
Eiserman
Buium
Dickinson
Catton
Iginla
Silayev
Tier 4
Helenius
Greentree
Parekh
MBN

Thats how far Ive made it in the first round. I have about 10 other names that are pretty close to MBN right now but unspecified, so tier 4 stretches out a bit.

Drop off at 24 as far as 1st round grades.

It wasn't my order so I had to tier them respectively.

Parekh is high on my list.. I'm a bit lower on Buium than others, he's a tier below Parekh for me because the skating is a big differentiator as is the finishing ability.

Would he still want out after the way the Canucks are performing now? After all, Vancouver is a very liveable city.
He's negotiating with the Canucks, let's stop talking about this.

For the fun of provoking discussions...lol....Snake Boisvert, after Celebrini has.....Trevor Connelly as the Number 2 pick!

Bold, I need to see more of Connelly

They might but I think they have a similar guy in Kent Johnson that they aren't really using. I'd expect CBJ to aim for Lindstrom if they can get him.

Habs picking at 1 are going Celebrini
Habs at 2 are going Lindstrom.

After that, it's less clear to me who they would prefer but I'd think Demidov/Catton/Helenius/Eiserman in that order.
Disagree - they’ll go w pure sniper & Mass boy Eiserman @ 2OA

I'd be more impressed by Demirov if he were not playing in the MHL, if I'm being perfectly honest. He's flashing a lot of skills but he's doing it against what would be decent to good midget hockey teams around here. I'd like to see him playing a lot more in the VHL, to really make up my mind about him.

I'd take any of Eiserman or Lindstrom if they're available when we're picking. We need as much talent as we can get right now

Speculation is that he is in SKA's doghouse because he won't resign.

''Demidov has one year remaining on his contract with SKA St. Petersburg and he’s represented by Dan Milstein from Gold Star Hockey. Milstein has indicated Demidov is very much looking forward to coming to North America at the end of his current contract.''

I wonder if Demidov will buy-back his last year once drafted.

I think (don't quote me on this) the player has to notify the team ~1.5 years (16 months) in advance to buy-back the remaining 2/3 of his contract. With his older brother also on SKA, perhaps he will prefer to stay put until the contract runs out.
