Off the top of my head, really quick without much order in between tiers.
Tier 1
Celebrini
Tier 2
Demidov
Levshunov
Tier 3
Lindstrom
Eiserman
Buium
Dickinson
Catton
Iginla
Silayev
Tier 4
Helenius
Greentree
Parekh
MBN

Thats how far Ive made it in the first round. I have about 10 other names that are pretty close to MBN right now but unspecified, so tier 4 stretches out a bit.
For now:

Tier 1
Celebrini

Tier 2
Demidov
Lindstrom
Eiserman

Tier 3
Levshunov
Silayev

Tier 3.5
Catton
Buium
Parekh
Connelly

Tier 4
Helenius
Dickinson
MBN
Iginla
Greentree
Yakemchuk

Need to watch more OHL/WHL for sure, but pretty comfortable with that top 6. Anyone in tier 3.5 could realistically move up to tier 2 or down to the bottom of tier 4.

Some CHL top prospects game notes after 2:

Parekh has shown some defensive holes, not a great game from him so far.

Yakemchuk impressive offensively while physical defensively. Unsure about his D game, will have to re-watch the game.

Iginla and Catton doing fine together on the White top line. Nothing overly impressive yet though.

Dickenson being Dickenson, solid all over the ice.

BTW @Estimated_Prophet I see the « Bure knees » on Demidov, praying he has the rubber ligaments that Datsyuk had.

I @ you because I know you’re obsessed with skating motions :naughty:

Truth is Habs don't have anyone that does the type of things Demidov does. And to a lesser extent, Catton. We severely lack that multi-threat combination of skating, hands and shooting.

On the other hand, Dach and Slafkovsky can bring different elements of Lindstrom's game.

Is how i see it if we are so lucky to get to choose between the two.

What you think Raoul Boilard? Could be good late 2nd or 3rd rounder for us. Size, energy, decent hands.

2024 Kubota CHL top prospects game - MY STANDOUTS :

1. Tij Ignila (He's going top 10 for sure... the risk/reward ratio is off the roof).
2. Boilard (never heard of him before. The kid has a lot of potential + good size. Definitely worth a second round pick).
3. Yakemchuk (Not sure about the hockey IQ, but the skills and size are there).
4. Luke Misa (small but good speed and skills).
5. Dickinson (can't miss there. good all over the ice).
6. Mews (Really nice hockey IQ. Smart player).

P.S. It's only one game, but I thought Catton was better. IMO, Helenius and him belong in the same tier but I prefer Helenius. I would take Ignila over both of them in a heart beat.

Iginla has a great motor, so he's always going to look good in a more open game like that. Still, good for him for taking the opportunity to showcase himself.
