I didnt know the kid before the top prospect game. I usually have limited knowledge when it comes to the depth of these drafts, Im just getting started to watch the top ranked kids more seriously...

Hate to see it go but USA hockey has come along ways in recent years. Many prospects come from there now

Maybe not. But it's not a prediction. It's a preference. Today. Still 6 months to change. And it probably will. One thing is certain...I don't see how I will change the first 2. And Iginla will be in my top 10 in June.

I think people are sleeping on Leshunov big time right now.

Note that Demidov had the 3rd most 2nd places out of all the other players.

If the drafted played out perfectly like Bobs list and we were still picking 6th, Id probably lean Buium or Catton.

I’d go Catton in that case. Buium would be a little redundant on the LD but I’d take Parekh if we slipped a couple spots

Always possible to move Hutson for a forward and then we upgrade our LD with Zeev.

I’ve actually been saying to trade Hutson at high value for a top 6 and draft Parekh on the RD as we’re thin on that side. We’re along the same lines, I see Parekh as comparable to Buium just fits a better need. Question is… what can Hutson get us?

The LD who profiles like Guhle and the one dimensional goal scorer who profiles that Caufield.

This makes sense.. plus its nice to give some kids avenues to get out of Russia.

Replacing the CHL prospect game sounds like a great idea, like when they used to have each league in the CHL face Team Russia but now it will be the USA and just 2 games instead of the 6 they used to play when it was with Russia.

We need a forward. Full stop. If we draft closer to 9-10 Demidov nd Lindstrom are gone for sure. Catton I like…. Parekh may be a bigger impact player. As I said, IF we can get a top 6 for Hutson then I would be open

If Kent is not going to go out and get another dog trade they need to drop the best forward possible that can score goals and not a guy that's 3 ft high
